Great job guys! You can tell Makka (sp?) really enjoys it and has a hell of a lot of skill he was smiling the whole time. As for the ladies on board and all the comments, It's Troys boat there could be 3 wild baboons on board if that's what he wants then so be it, yea they could have probably been a little more help. I've done some competitive auto racing and there is a big difference when your doing it for a bit of fun and sport vs. for running for a big prize or some sort of championship.... looks like everyone had fun here and that's what counts! They don't have to do a damn thing but enjoy themselves. They are good looking girls and are doing something they probably never did before. Let them have fun and give it a rest people.
Wow too hard on the girls fellas. I saw one of them hand off a winch handle, and really they help Bobby in other ways. You didn't see the entire race in the video either, so maybe you didn't see their contributions. Besides obviously they are just learning and saying that they are "boring" or "dead weight" isn't true. Sorry girls, I hope you don't read the comments.
Your sail are in a hell of a shape , main. Foot is flogging Jib also , you could had trimmed better , main food flogged the hole way , , you could had done better , position on water is most of it. , but you sails are doing all the work , better luck tomorrow ,

Entertaining video, tight race, well done. Especially the analysis. Minor comment: since you are not using a spipole, and due to the asymmetrical rigging, why wouldn't you call it a blister, rather than calling it a spinnaker?
If you got speed but not tac then scoach (sp?) build momentum and bring her up, fall off and do it again. Also learn to tack by backfilling your sail before popping and sheeting in on the other side. And find a good cleat instead of the winches....!!
I love your video work and I've been a subscriber since VERY early on. I miss the days when you were sailing YOUR boat to places the rest of us could access. Don't get me wrong, I love that you have really hit on a way to sail EVERYWHERE in the baddest boats around, but I miss the old days. Just my 2 cents. I'm still a big fan even though I don't watch as much anymore. :)
@@Sailingdoodles I usually watch at work so volume is low anyway but I totally get it. Great race. Really making the travel itch grow everytime I watch. Gotta get the youngest off to college before I can take flight though. I know that some folks aren't interested but keep updating with the whole travel work situation with Laura. It will be useful to me in the future, and having traveled for 13 years it'll be an option later. Keep having fun y'all

I really did try to view the video. But this video was about as exciting as wasting, wasted time, only second behind that dreadfully disadvantageous cheap music.
