    Been throwing a custom mansfield knockers. It's the white one with a pearl and light silver dust and some pink. It's been killer. Love that lure. Easy to work and casts a mile.

    Gorgeous red. Love to see you doing what you can for conservation and helping the Harte institute. Rarely do I keep trout but if they swallow that hook, like here, it's understandable.

    Hello Capt Wayne ,
    New Lures coming In r just great , esp that some bait profiles r downsizing for better diversified presentations,,, I’d like to say : pls modify the 4” paddle tails 1/ 3 of the way back by making tail section thinner Or installing an ‘ action notch ‘ on the bait to ‘ Get Better Vibration Action On The Tail ‘ - It takes a huge whiplike pull on the rod to force the tail to vibrate & u can’t produce a slower more subtle presentation,,, Just an observation Y’all,,,
    I Appreciate KWiggler Families & Fanz 💪🏼🐟🇺🇸✨

      Agreed, I can’t seem to throw one with anything lighter than a 1/4oz and even then I feel it needs to sink down at least a foot to have enough water tension for the paddle tail to actually have enough resistance to paddle. Takes a ton of retrieval movement/action for that tail to work just like you said.

      We’ve modified the paddle tail so be sure to get the ones in the new style bag, these have more action at a lower retrieval speed

    Hello Capt Wayne & KWiggler Team
    Hogie Lures had a ‘ lack of tail action ‘ on their old model ‘major minnow’ - but w out changing da plastic chemistry they ‘shaved or reduced ‘ da thickness of the tail section about 1/3 rd of da way back on the total length of da lure ,,, Perhaps da same type thing can be done w da 4” paddle tail & not change the plastic composition,,, ( shave or reduce the thickness of Da lure or install a ‘cutaway notch ‘ at da right location so not to take away da tuffness of da plastic ) ,,again just an observation please ,,😊 ,, Luv KWigglers Lures & KWigglers Team 💪🏼🐟🇺🇸🤓✨

    What size Boga grips do y’all prefer the smallest one,and capt Davis what is your rod reel setup?

    • @kwigglersfishing4231
      @kwigglersfishing4231  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Capt Wayne here - I use the 15 pound Boga - and the rod and reel, well, both rods are Fishing Tackle Unlimited Green Rods (G2's) both are 6'6" with one being the Finesse mode and the other is the Classic model. Let me know if I can help out.

    Do y’all ever use the single in line hooks on the knockers?

    • @kwigglersfishing4231
      @kwigglersfishing4231  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes Capt Wayne uses them about 50% of the time

      @@kwigglersfishing4231 do y’all see a difference in the hook up ratio? Or a particular time the trebles are better than the in line hooks?

    • @kwigglersfishing4231
      @kwigglersfishing4231  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally you will catch (land) more fish with trebles. But if floating grass is a problem singles is the way to go and yet you can still land em.

    Hi capt davis what happen if we catch? A fish with ur tags we get a price or we have to be a member

    • @kwigglersfishing4231
      @kwigglersfishing4231  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will receive a prize from the Harte Research Institute. Just call the number on the tag and make sure you document the tag number and length of the fish.
