I keep getting the lap top freezing on updating configuration when I try to go to the ramp and soak tool... I cannot get the program to work at all.. I am also using the N20K48 controller too.
When you make a setpoint to 800 Celsius can you assign it a ramp rate of degrees per hr? For example heat to 800 deg.C at 100 deg.C per hour and then hold for 2 hours
Yes, you can achieve this in a few different ways. Depending on if you want a straight line to 800C or any holding in between. The best method is to download QuickTune and experiment with the Ramp and Soak programming tool. For example, you can set one Ramp from ambient temperature to 800C lasting 8 hours. Then another 2 hour segment to hold.
