I'm also blessed by getting good in- laws.... No, they are not this kind of cool people... Even they are not even my 'best friends'... But they have never treated me badly... And most importantly they never lies to their son about me.. And that's enough for me.... I live separately with my husband for his job retirement.But whenever they comes here to meet us, they always remain peaceful... We are not best friends, but at least we are not enemies... And that's enough for me.... When I read other commennts about real toxic in-laws.... I feel blessed that I'm so lucky... Many girls are not this much lucky... Thank you God..

I know a mother in and daughter in law and they are best friends. Mother has only one child her son is 30 so is his wife 30 aswell. The mother in law is I'm told she is 48 but is slim attractive modern educated born raised here in UK just like her daughter in law and mother in looks like 30 her daughter in laws age. He says both his mum and his wife are feminists and his mum always takes his wife side. He lives separate from his parents and his mum is fine with it. His mum and wife always hang out shopping and dinner and coffee. His mum and his wife both women control men( him and his dad) and they cannot say word even his own mum says to him and his dad that UK has women's rights and men should not control women and she is not traditional wife and mother in law and does not want her daughter in law to be aswell she supports her and wants her son to be gentlemen to his wife by him taking her to date and opening door and putting out table chair for his wife and his wife loves it that his own mum takes her side and tells him not to control his wife and she also doesn't like to be controlled by his dad. They also chit chat about their husbands (imagine mother in law agreeing and siding with her daughter in law about her son) and girly talk like latest women's fashion.
