Bernie Sanders is older than Trump and Biden both, but is consistently sharp, energetic and healthy. He could have easily served as President for 8 years.
Imagine if Sanders has been President instead of Trump and Biden. The four Supreme Court picks alone would have been a huge boost to the working class.
That’s a bit of an unfair statement. Bernie has never held a senior position such as presidency like Biden. Presidency is a hell lot more demanding and taxing ,especially at their advanced age, compared to being a senator. If you look at Biden, four years ago, he was actually in good shape for his age , but upon assuming the role of presidency he declined physically and cognitively. If, Bernie won back then , he could be in the same predicament as Biden I.e. age cognitively and physically. Presidency AGES you a LOT.

He has shown us what an uphill battle progress is on a country where half or more of the voters vote against their own interests. Biden was still sharp four years ago but presidency took a massive toll on him cognitively and physically. At their age , health and being is significantly more unpredictable

I have issues with the bill and with Manchin, but I think it's important to have a better understanding what our legislation does than caricature gives.
