CM Jam Kamal Khan Family Home & Bela Market in Lasbela, Balochistan in Pakistan

- What I thought was going to be a day of camels and exploring rural Lasbela turned into something quite special in Balochistan. Come along as I travel from Gwadar to Lasbela to explore the 100+ year old Bela Bazaar market. Then, walk in the footsteps of Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal as I retrace the historic sites of the noble princely Jam family -- including their family home. We'll visit Jirga Hall and the old Lasbela post office. Explore the Tomb of Pakistan's first Muslim general (Ibn e Haroon, who brought Islam to the country). Get sweaty and shop through the bustling market. And take a tour of Bara Bagh cemetery, where 40 of the 100 graves are Jam nobles from the past few hundred years.
This area of Lasbela was once the region's capitol, actively presided over by Chief Minister Jam Kamal's forefathers. It is rich in history and this video explores key sites of Old Bela City and the Jam Noble Family, before Lasbela went from being a state to a district in the last century.

Welcome back to Balochistan and Lasbela, it was funny when you keep asking the guy that what milk they are using in the Tea and he figured it out after a while that it's actually cow milk which I doubt, as in Pakistan it's mostly Buffalo milk used in tea. The guy also mentioned about "milk pack", which you didn't get it, as it's actually a locally available milk in the market, kind a sold in tetra pack. Especially loved 'Jam saab's grandfather's' home. Interesting about the milk, it's mainly from buffalo in Pak but they were using cow.

In Pakistan, we have coffee available in every shop and if we have to, we make it like English tea... just pour some water and top it up with some milk. Tea is something that we treasure and that is why restaurants normally don't have coffee but that doesn't mean they don't have access to a jar of Nescafe. It is more common in our kitchens, mostly lying there because we prefer tea. We use that if we get cold.

@@khalidsyed142 no no ... you are right. I've met with Jam on several occasions in both Quetta and then was his guest at Cholistan Desert Rally for camping. He's a very honourable and kind person. I just don't think it's nice I try to tell everyone I know him and name drop him like a celebrity ;-) hehe I wanted to make this video and hope people watch for the history of it, hope that makes sense.

The milk he said was from MilkPak , it’s milk packed in tetrapacks like those available in USA , milk cartons you know? Pasteurised milk so don’t worry :)

The milk in milkshake was from pakageing called mailk pack, pack for packaging, u was surprised because u thought it to b pig. No pigs in Pakistan used as food of any sort
Kudos for braving the heat and for having a strong digestive system! Lol.. I think the man at the cold drink stall was trying to say the milk was from 'MlkPaK' (milk pack) pasteurized brand of milk sold locally in shops rather than Milk Pig. Milk pack is not that cheap for the locals so i wonder if he really used MilkPak. It must surely be a big shock to the locals seeing a woman in their midst in Lasbela bazaar.
