In December 2023 I embarked on an adventure in Indonesia.
Yogyakarta's my first stop. In this video,
I left Yogyakarta for my next stop,
which is Bromo and then Tumpak Sewu.
I had a lot of fun but also encountered a bit of unpleasantness.

But then I thought people all make mistakes and maybe he has learnt his lesson since I pointed it out in his face and he apologized. So I suppose I will not announce the name of the homestay for now. Let's give him another chance.

As Indonesian we not recommend woman to travel solo in Indonesia, espesially if u take homestay. Outdoor adventure to remote or forest area also need to be compannied by your own family or friends, because some local guide can be the one that doing bad thing to u if u are woman solo traveller, espesially after doing shower at waterfall, becarefull on the journey. If something bad happen, report to the police office. Indonesia also has begal (road robbery) and brawl espesially at night. Daerah wisata aja kok bisa mesum begitu ya sama wisatawan , bikin malu orang Indonesia aja itu oknum pemilik homestay cabul. Sebagai rakyat Indonesia kami mohon maaf, selamat berlibur, selalu waspada dalam perjalanan.

the sound that u heard in last video is not adzan (prayer call). around 15-10 minutes before adzan, the mosque (mesjid) will reciting quran (random surah/chapter from quran), sometimes people (child can do it, tho) reciting live, sometimes it was recorded file 🎉

Bromo haves beautiful lanscape with clear sky.. .But unlucky, you got fog and cloudy there.. .
I suggest you come to Taman Safari Pasuruan and Mount Ijen Banyuwangi for next trip.. .Yeach, Indonesians so friendly and warm, but always take care Miss. Have nice journey.. .

Hi I use iPhone 14 pro to shoot videos and capcup to edit.
That is an old train you took, judging from the AC. Newer carriages are way better. I wonder why KAI hasn't changed carriages in touristy routes..

seharusnya pihak bromo bekerja sama dengan BMKG.. supaya kalau ada tanda AWAN LEBAT harganya di kurangi.. justru ini namanya pencurian karena kita bayar mahal tpi tidak mendapat apa yang dijanjikan..
Tidk semua yg kita inginkn kita dapatkan karena tiap turis yg mau datang berwisata ke indo dri Eropa/Asia sebagian nerima kekurangan di tempat wisata karena tiap negara punya kelebihan dan kekurangan di dlm pelayanan mau itu homestay/hotel, seharus y turis memaklumi hal itu, begitu jga turis dri indo ke negara lain, sudh mayar mahal tpi tidk dapat yg kita inginkan, yg terpenting ambil sisi positif y ja/sebagai pengalaman supaya kedepan y tikd mengalami hal yg serupa di kemudian hari.

Yes, he did. I was very angry too. I felt so weird and and still feel weird thinking about that experience and even the place. 🥲But thanks to the beautiful Tumpak Sewu and other kind people, I felt so much better.
