Me too, I'm sad he couldn't really get more time to be fleshed out, he kinda got shafted but since he wasn't disposed of aka killed off in cabin fever like a lot of other background characters did, he might still have a chance of returning, I just really doubt it'll be in the season 1 finale but rather a second season
While I think your theory is very interesting and can see its potential, I do want to point out that the possibility of it being an animation error is pretty substantial since we've already seen a more obvious animation error the animators didn't catch in Episode 5 when Tessa confronts CYN. In that scene, CYN picks up the globe she was sitting on. Yet a few scenes later when Tessa throws items at her, we can see a copy of the globe that CYN just picked up in the background despite her holding the original one. It was even missing in the scene right before that as well when Tessa shoots CYN, so the fact that it spontaneously reappeared in the background at the next scene _(with no real reasoning behind it or lore implication)_ is almost definitely an animation error. In both Episode 4 and 5, almost all the fans (including me) did not notice those details (intentional or not) initially for a while despite how obvious it is once those details WERE noticed, so the possibility of the animators missing such errors/details is not far-fetched. However, the fact that they didn't just kill off Thad _(along with him disappearing conveniently at a Cabin Fever Labs location)_ gives the whole *"Thad has purple lights!"* detail more merit compared to the other "animation error" example I've provided. If your theory turns out to be true, then I will have to give props to Glitch and Liam for utilizing such a small lore detail. Only time will tell!

There was a similar old theory like this, but the difference was we believed Thad was taken as a vessel by the solver in ep2 when he was up in the ceiling, bec in ep4 there are 2 scenes were the human hand appeared, and when both these two happened it was by the time Thad has already disappeared, so we thought maybe the solver is using him in someway But I still didn’t have an explanation for the purple lights, so this theory is actually pretty cool too xD

This is kinda a silly theory to me, I really doubt a now unimportant background character such as thad will suddenly be thrusted back into being relevant to the story in the final 2 episodes of murder drones 1st season, even if Liam decides to bring thad back into the spotlight and even if he does get brought back up to play a bigger role in a second season, I personally think it wouldn't be like THIS. No offence btw, I just personally don't believe it to be very likely to happen BUT you still came up with a pretty interesting idea of long dead drones potentially still having their consciousness existing somehow even when their bodies have be killed/destroyed and being able to enter the systems of other living drones(with their memories\personalities intact), it brings up interesting questions, drones are potentially able to be revived with the solver to become zombie drones, but what happens to the consciousness of the dead drones who aren't revived as zombies?Are their consciousness actually gone OR is it stored on some hardrive or something?is this thing that might be holding the dead drones consciousness such as nori and yevas have some link to the absolute solver which might be why cyn came back to work with the solver as the first ever zombie after she wasn't properly disposed of?
