Coloring in Grayscale with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol - Stamp and Chat Live Replay

- Tonight, I made a card in grayscale using only one Prismacolor Pencil and some Gamsol. This grayscale card has a very soft look and it's perfect for a card of encouragement, sympathy or any other time you would want a more muted look. I hope you enjoyed this technique and I hope you'll give it a try!

I love using colored pencils and gamsol!! It is so relaxing for me. I would never have used black to color a flower but this is gorgeous!

It's funny that you made that comment about gamers watching someone make a card on Twitch. I'm a gamer AND a cardmaker, so I've watched my fair share of gamers stream on Twitch, often while making a card. 😆 I've not seen anyone crafting on Twitch thus far, so I think it's great that you're bringing crafting over there! I'm usually not around when you're live, so I generally watch your replays on TH-cam, and often while I'm gaming! LOL! 🤣 I love the monochrome BTW, would never have thought of that, looks great and classic. Gives me an idea to do one in sepia tones to make it look like a vintage photo.

I missed this live. This is so beautiful. I know so many like bright colors...I do also to an extent, but I looove sepia tone, black and white (or cream) and the same for gray (with white, but prefer cream). I’m a little over halfway through the video and I gotta say everything is just serene and peaceful in this video (guitar, Gina...your voice, the coloring, etc). Thank you for showing how to look like an artist😊💕

Beautiful. I really like the gray.
So far I'm really liking the grey and the gambsol seems to smooth out the "janky" pencil lines that make me so crazy! And........since you asked, not everyone can afford copics or has brush tip alcohol markers so some bullet nib coloring would be awesome! I have the arteza markers and I really do enjoy coloring but my blending is just terrible! Stay safe, healthy and creative!

Hi Gina, don't get to the lives because of time differences in Australia, not sure what time it would be here, anyway, would love to see some more foiling techniques, ways of foiling with embossing folders and stencils etc.. something that maybe encompasses foiling and colouring, and colouring on Acetate and vellum would be great too.

If you get an alcohol ink blending pen that is empty and fill it with gamsol and it has a fine tip too. And I sand it yo clean it

A striking monochromatic design and it was so easy to do, it would be beautiful in blue as well like delft blue pottery.
I would like to see the bible wrap dots in a color. I love black and white with one pop of color. I may try that
Hi I am new to "adult coloring as they call it" and have a have a question. I printed a sunflower using ranger archival ink. I started coloring using crayola pencils and blending stumps. I then decided to try my hand using gamsol. Upon which I noticed the blends seemed to have a dirty look, ie picked up the ink. So does gamsol react with archival ink?
What about ink blending on colored card stock? I’ve never seen anybody do that and I think it would be quite interesting and beautiful. Thank you for this monochromatic beauty!
