To be able to stand in front of a huge audience in public at this age of 78 and deliver a tech talk confidently is an achievement that deserves big kudos and inspiration to many

78Yrs old and still excited and engaged by the Technology and the possibilities, I hope I am the same in 25 years time! It's a great lesson in not retiring [fully] and staying interested and curious
WOW! Oracle has always been building systems for the world. Targeting the most diverse and sophisticated systems for the masses. And, they just never stop. There's this saying "If you use a computer, you definitely use Oracle. If you live and breath in this world, you definitely use Oracle without knowing it." Splendid! The Confidence from Larry, He's simply the best.
Salute to the energy and passion of Ellison. What stamina... No wonder oracle is oracle. I wish the audience could be more responsive though with some questions / feedback few times during the presentation.
Revolutionizing the Healthcare Information Storage and personal healthcare data access from anywhere in the world. Larry Ellison always an inspiration to millions. Great keynote presentation. In coming years engineers with PLSQL, Oracle DB skills and health care domain knowledge will be more in demand, rapid increase in the number of jobs with this skills requirement.
Absolutely fantastic presentation regarding technology upgrades, innovations, partnerships that affect the world that is virtually seemless bringing everyone on the same page. Dr. Ellison's passion, brilliance for technology that affects the average person's well-being is so appreciated world-wide. Thank you, for you ans God bless you for the knowledge you've shared with us all making the impossible - possible.
I am so excited about oracle! I am job hunting and praying that whoever shires me uses oracle because I am completely fascinated and my fingers tingle just thinking about playing with it!
This is really a requirement now. We need to implement it at the earliest for the sake of Mankind. We are so sure and we know that there are many more viruses which are much more dangerous than the Corona viruses. But Dear Mr. Larry you need to take care of your health too, noticed that you were breathing heavily during the talk. The world needs you more than ever! :)
Problem At the point of 0.06 your page/slide right side is not much clear to see/read at 360p so if you like you can edit it, because generally people watch at 360p. Thank you
Is it? Larry is very knowledgeable yes, but presentation delivery needs help. Just because you can talk for 1hr plus, doesn’t mean you should. Unfortunately his slides are merely cue cards. No audience interaction, or change of pace with other speakers. Honestly speak for 20 mins max, people will remember more of what you say.
I’m listening on AirPod max headphones. There’s a strange echo in this recording (sounds like howling wind) That’s a shame because I love listening to Larry talk about technology. I wonder if someone could run a simple audio enhancement over this video and lose the echo and then repost the new video? Because that would be most excellent of you if you did. He is such a smart dude and I always learn a bunch from his fireside chats.
He must eat healthy and lift weights to look that young. Enjoyed his presentation this year but the audience seemed too quiet. The health care solution may too political for some people.
Good afternoon, sir, Hopefully Old, along with your family, always under the protection of God Almighty, given health and convenience in carrying out daily activities, amen, amen.
I noticed a lot of foreign listeners in the audience presentation like this is an open information on how we run our advance system thats why they had an easy access on how they could apply it in their own nation and it will be a future competitor, otherwise they could be more advance than our own, it is public anyway because of social media, my take on this, is it should be considered critical information on our side. it happens already in different aspects of our advanced technology, and they would copied it.
Did you not notice how many jobs will be lost? I am a general physician and have some experience in web application development. My vision has always been to go beyond individuals and focus on populations, so I set out to learn IT and web and data analysis. I was deeply moved by the talk but, is it not going to create a more enormous monopoly of information (Health- information) and create opportunities only for Tech giants and a few partners to be in control. I wonder if there were also thoughts on how to provide opportunities for the global community to adapt to the so-called change so that no one feels left out?
Wasn't too long back Larry didn't believe in the cloud, cos his on Prem solutions was at direct loggerheads with AWS, Rackspace and other similar firms. If you look at it from a holistic point of view, what really changed was that datacenters moved away from spinning mechanical disks to solid state ones, and that had an immense effect on database providers, where in memory db caching became the norm.
You are behind in this America. In Poland, we have a central database of patients, tests and drugs they take. I can go to an internist on the other side of the country and he has insight into my results etc..
This guy is worth over $100billion 78years still teaching technology. If I was him I could be sipping tequila and chilling with b*tchs in Bahamas with my 300ft megayatch
Larry is nice but this is the guy that financed and was on the board of Theranos, major fraudulent healthcare company. How is this guy qualified to advise humanity?

And Larry doesn’t look 78 anyway.

This is an extremely noble and worthwhile pursuit for a technology vendor, proud to be part of it!

I can't image this man is already 78 years old, who is still the CTO of the big tech.

This person being 78 blows my mind. Definitely on that billionaire healthcare hahaha. Pretty interesting.
Great leader, he also wears Panerai. 👌
This man looks good for his age.
So old and still working!
Back in 2002, when .Net was released. Java was at Version 4. So Java, should only be Three versions Ahead. How many versions Ahead Are they?

Man, I love Larry but truth be told, he's not looking as coherent as the Larry I know. . It's totally undertandable, just saying.

He was a tad under the weather

Better sip on athletic greens and not on poison if you want to have a brain in your later years.
OK for the past, but not for future.
☹☹☹oracle cloud is not stable
Do you have something specific to say or are you just taking this opportunity to bash Oracle Cloud (using an anonymous handle)?
why do so many companies use it
Troll probably got declined for a internship

It's a fact that people who do not identify as women can become pregnant.
