Okay no because I TOTALLY was rooting for Jake because he actually treated her way better than Kaleb. Kaleb also just became obsessed with her for no reason💀 his journal entries about her just gave absolutely nothing and she fr gushed so hard about them 💀🤣🥲
Ive seen some people saying credence isn’t incest lite because they’re step family when that isn’t accurate at all like that book fetishizes that idea in a way where the author can do some plausible deniability 😭 and then there’s haunting adeline where zade is so contradictory because he wants to stop trafficking but sexually harasses and assaults his love interest at the beginning (even if she does end up liking it) now I love dark romance but make it make sense
yeah, some people just choose to ignore that Kaleb and Noah are fully related 😭😭
I FEEL THE EXACT SAME WITH. with jake the chemistry and connection was so palpable. but with kaleb… It just wasn’t the same. also I can’t get over the fact that he violated her so many times and she never reprimanded him for it (at least not in the way I wanted. I think he deserved a lot worse for the way he treated her)

Credence is still on my TBR because I'm glutton for punishment, but I read Haunting Adeline and I was BORED AF... like ew... it was literally like you said MENTAL GYMNASTICS! Just no.
I haven't read credence myself but after hearing you explain it, I agree that it would make so much more sense for her to end up with Jake! She was searching for love that she didn't get from her horrible parents, so it makes sense if she would've started to be attracted towards an older guy who takes her in. To try and get some of that parental love she was denies while also being in a romantic relationship 😆 I dunno, just my thoughts after watching this video

Your brakes shouldnt be squeaky if theyre new. They only squeak when the brake pad wears down over time. If theyre squeaking, it makes me wonder if you got scammed. Who did the job? Id have another shop pull them off and look at them . Brakes are really important, i dont need to tell you :)

my friend and I read the haunting adeline book and we just kept laughing at Zade because he's just an edgelord. He's the gary stu that is the best at everything, can kick everyone's ass, bangs the hot chicks, and is tall, dark, and mysterious as he wears all black...because he's sO eDgY. Also fair warning about the 2nd book, if non consent is a no for you, it gets worse in the 2nd book.
