damn u nailed the old ar feeling... it TRULY was rewarding beating maps in the old days. i think that was the reason why i liked making ar vids too. but those days are long gone. take ur time recovering from the burnout, kid. i hope u find that spark again.
I wonder, if like SD, they'd ever add an option for AR like: Units, skills and seals that were Book 3 and below 😂

Side note; United Warfront was actually fun, and I hope that IS improves upon it the next time around.
Being able to send friend requests, including Abyssal difficulty, and maybe even allowing us to view replays of other players' clears using our units. More inclusive PvE content like this please!
Wasn't around long enough to see this old style of AR, but it's probably a unique feeling to just take your favorites, your memes, and win with strategy. It's kinda just delete button after delete button being released nowadays, in an endless arms race in which your favorite underdogs are rather outmatched
But hey, at least there's fond memories you can look back to, right? Building up base Linus and using the free Brave Eliwood I got (I showed up when the cyl 3 units were the free summons for new players) because I had recently beaten Blazing Blade for the first time were certainly good times ^^
Prob also helps that AR being new back then, made it feel fresh; now I'm a just a jaded oldhead lol. Arms race is an apt way of putting it.

I appreciate the memories and the good times, but a part of me doesn't want to give up on using my faves. I just need to take a break first; I'm getting to old for this powercreep bullcrap.
Interesting to visit a blast from the past though. glad that chaos season is easy for you it truly is an easy season.
I do find Chaos season more enjoyable compared to the other competitive modes, but overall if I'm not actively rolling for the meta/new units, then its not easier cause of powercreep levels today lol
