As a frequent visitor to Key West I appreciate your walking tour. We stayed their in July of 2019. Margaritaville Resort and Marina has been re-branded. It is now called Opal Key Resort and Marina. Same owners, just a different marketing strategy.
@@lindsayrollin4291 Yes, JB does still own the studio, but the resort itself was never owned by him, but sold marketing rights to allow it to be called Margaritaville Resort and Marina and contract is now ended. It has been owned by Ocean Properties, Ltd for some time and is managed by the Tannex Development, LC.

This one I just used my phone, a Galaxy S10 Plus with the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 Gimbal. (_I personally like the osmo 2 better than the osmo 3 for walking videos because it locks better vertically_)
We stayed at the Margaritaville Key West Resort & Marina in their two bedroom room on the top floor (plenty of room for the wife and 4 kids). I should post the walkthrough of it, it was really nice!
The great days before covid. I was there this pastJuly and believe me covid took a lot away from the experience. All the bars were closed. Wont be going back until things sort of return to normal.
Hi turistas, Sunset Key islland is officially called Tank Island on nautical charts. It had two large oil tanks for refueling Navy ships until they gave it to the city for a park. Which did not happen. The cottage business is owned by Mike Walsh's Opal company, whose ship dock gets much profit from giant cruise ships of 3,000 passengers. The locals do NOT like massive ships docking in KW which flood Duval Street with day trippers who patronize tee shirt shops, jewelry stores, expensive cosmetic ripoff scams and there are so many of them they block traffic and do not obey the Do Not Walk traffic signals. Key Westers voted to limit the size of cruise ships but Mr Walsh paid a million dollars into Florida Governor DeSantis political fund to get him to approve a law that would overturn the citizens right to vote to control bad things happening to their cities!! Although he owns four hotels in KW and a cruise ship dock, he is bad neighbor and hurts the place that is earning his income. He punishes the lifestyles of the locals for his own profit motives. Do us a favor and stay somewhere else and teach him that his bad behavior will cost him some money ;=] Maybe then he will listen to us when we say "Get some smaller cruise ships and help the reef survive." P.s. It is not worth $700 a night, free sunsets and good chow is available anywhere else in KW ;=}
