It’s really cool that Shawn is able and chose to share these knives with his friends south of the border. You’ve been such a supporter of knife you tubers with all of your logo designs, it’s great to see such an amazing gift sent your way!
Dude, you’ve got the the traditional thing going on! Look at all of those. And Shawn has sent you a really cool one! Gorgeous handles. Very cool, Shawn!
It almost looks like a little trailing point blade. Imperfection? nope didn't see one. It's a beauty Gary. What do you know, Gary goes traditional! Thank you for sharing Gary and thank you Shawn.
FYI, Pictou is a community in Ontario, Canada, where the manufacturer is located. It’s a DH Russel Grohmann mini folding knife. They still sell their knives with imperfections, just at a reduced cost. A very good deal!
I really dig the knife. Only mistake I made was carry it without a leather sheath for a few months before I got one. I was a novice around traditional knives. I put a few dings in the wood covers before I started protecting it. But I still enjoy it in my rotation from time to time.
Handmade here in Canada. Pictou, pronounced pick-tow". They're on on the east coast. The S is stamped because it's a factory second, sold from the factory at half price. Most people find it nearly impossible to find any flaw. German stainless steel. I have a few of their fixed blade knives and use them. I'm thinking my next one is this model lock back in drop point.
I guess it's pronounced "grah-man" Also curious about that SMKW sticker, surprised Starbucks didn't get after them for skirting the registered trademark
Fantastic piece!!!!!!
Do you know how to fix side to side play?
Glad you like it Gary! It’s fits in the pocket slip nicely 👍. Use. Love. Destroy! Take care buddy 👍🤙
Thanks 👍 I added a few scratches to the handle. So I am using it for sure. lol

That’s sweet man! Shawn you are really nice for the gift! Let’s get EDC den some much deserved subs.
Thanks he appreciate that. 😀
Very classy knife. I really like the shape. Thanks for sharing Gary.
Thanks, I think I notice what was wrong with. It has side to side blade play. It’s still a nice looking piece.
I love giving & receiving items to be cherished! Pieces of tangible memories! Very nice! 😁⚔️
Yes! Thank you!

My thoughts exactly, I was going to say that.
@@TheLastRanger I knew you where searching for that word. I thought i give my buddy a little help.
Thank you. ❤️
A great gift from an awesome guy! Great video Gary 👍
Absolutely, thanks Jeremy!
Sweet blade man!
Thanks buddy!
@@TheLastRanger I’m trying to get into the traditional thing but they need pocket clips.. lol.
There is one that RJ has that’s a traditional lock back that has a pocket clip. But Finch makes some modern traditionals that have clips too.
Neat lockback, Gary! Kudos to Shawn!
Thanks lovely looking piece.
Shawn has really been kind. So cool.
Yeah he is. Great piece.
Very nice gift from Shawn! Love Grohmann knives. The ones they list as having imperfections are typically so minor that it's hard to spot them.
Thanks 👍 I think it was the side ton side blade play. I noticed that after the video went live.
Very nice gift from Shawn, a knife will follow you for long time ;) Thanks for the video Gary, take care my friend
You too Paul. I already added some love to the handles in a way of some scratches. Oops.
What’s the sheepsfoot blade with the black scales on the left?
Thats the Rough Ryder Classic Carbon II Half Hawk. Got it at SMKW
@@TheLastRanger Thank you!

FYI it’s in Nova Scotia not Ontario
Cool stickers and I'm a lockback fan boy.
I am too for Traditionals especially.
You have a good friend That mini is a beauty
Thanks, yes he’s great to have sent me such an awesome piece. I hope he starts making videos again.
Great friend to have.
The best!
Generally they say has imperfection but it can litterally be anything from a scratch inside the liner
@@5Adventure I couldn’t find it but I imagine a true traditional knife collector would find it. I like the knife regardless if there is a minor error.

Thank you, I was very happy to be gifted one from Shawn of The EDC Den. It’s an interesting looking blade shape.
Nice blade shape
Very interesting. Seems curve when hold it but I think that’s how the handle makes it seem.
I guess it's pronounced "grah-man"

THE ‘S’ IS FOR ‘SECOND’ .. A SMALL IMPERFECTION LIKELY ON THE HANDLE.
IVE USED G FOR 20 YEARS AS A PRO CHEF.
It’s a great knife. Still have it and carry it time to time.
