Ariane, so happy to see what you’re doing, no matter how short the videos. You inspired me the most when I started watching you during the pandemic, and really got me re-interested in stitching. You also impressed being brave in your creating, which I’m now embracing. I love watching your process because you try all the things. I’m no artist when it comes to that, but creating with my hands is the way I deal with all the things in my life from a negative childhood, to loss and grief. How wonderful that your son is gaining his independence! Please continue to share your process wherever it takes you. It’s wonderful. Many hugs. Martha ❤
So so pleased to hear from you again. And yes, when we get to ‘a certain age’ we have gone through a lot. The important thing is that we have gone through the fire and come out the other side often stronger and certainly wiser although it doesn’t always feel like it at the time. Your Grace and charm is such a gift to us all. Thanks so much for sharing all this with us. Much love. ♥️🙏🇬🇧🇺🇦🇺🇦🇬🇧🙏♥️
Your creative explorations are contagious. Love that you are sharing them with us and by the way, having an adult relationship with your child is your reward for raising him. I relocated closer to where my two girls live so that I could be involved in their adult lives. It’s the best. I also cook for them!😂
I'M ALL FOR BRIBERY IF IT BRINGS THE KIDDIES HOME FOR A VISIT. I COULD SEE YOUR BRAIN PLANNING YOUR NEXT CREATIVE MOVE. WHO SANDS MATERIAL? AN ARTIST DOES. SO GLAD YOUR BACK.
I’m glad to see you updating again, even if they are only occasional. Getting youtube check ins from my favorite fiber artists is not just inspirational to my own creation process, but helps me feel more connected to the fiber arts community since I don’t have much opportunity to see and stitch with people in person. 🌈
I’m so happy to see you’re working your way back. You are such a brave genuine lady to share your struggles and determination to create again and share your gift with us. We all need to know we’re not infallible and life will get better with time. Welcome back!
So interesting about your grandfather! We tend to not realize how many people it takes to create something like that. The designs and photos were beautiful! I’d love to see more.
It’s great to see you back here & watching, with much interest, what you’re making now. Love seeing the photos from your grandfather’s laces too. Have fun experimenting! 💕😊👍🏻

WOW............yet another visit!!! I LOVE watching and hearing you go through the process of creating. It's so encouraging........because all of us Creatives need to see that there IS a process that someone besides ourselves goes thought and that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And to see someone of your caliber of creativity having something not work out..........well.........that kind of transparency is so vitally helpful to all of us. It does look like you're well on your way to creating a rather worthy piece. Thank you so much. AND oh my...........your grandfather's designs........the lace is exquisite. Blessings to you.......and so good to hear and see you again. Such a breath of fresh air!!!!!!!!!!! I'm inhaling.
Aw.. Alice... thank you SO much. You've been such a wonderful presence for many years now on my little TH-cam journey! It's always so wonderful to hear from you. ❤️
We are all so happy to see your wonderful work and your beautiful personality and smile. Welcome back. thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us.
I’m so happy to see you back! You have been dealt some horrible blows. I don’t know why it seems these things happen in clusters - I’ve been there too. Thank you for sharing your struggles with us and how you found a way to eventually cope with the pain. I’m a stitcher and I also love to bake - I find it very therapeutic. Your baking creations are fantastic and, as always, love seeing your fiber creations and watching your process.
I just love how you share your creative process and the fact that it will either work or it won't! LOL. So nice that your son is just minutes away, mine are much further and would also need me to pay for the plane fare, haha... So glad to see you back and creating again, Blessed be.
I've only been watching you for a few months. I love to create anything and everything. I have loved your videos. You are amazing. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. I had a channel, and this is a lot of work. I'm right-handed so most of the stitches I think I have to pay more attention and just do it. I hope to learn, and even come close to what you do. I just love you with your soft voice and not anxiety. It is peaceful and enjoyable. Thank you so much.
You deserve all the love that you've received. ❤ Your new blue piece with the lace is pretty remarkable and beautiful. I think it is a great addition to your piece hanging behind you because the lace piece is so soft and flowing and it's going to be a nice contrast to the black and white fabric. I have one question: What type of paint do you use when you paint your fabric? Thanks, and enjoy your pesto sauce! 😊
Thank you Cathy. Truthfully, I use whatever I've got near me, but it's almost always acrylic or a water based dye of some kind. I also love using those Caran d'ache pencils. THey're great for all types of fabrics.
Ha! I need to do a video of that, because it's SO easy and easily adaptable. My husband keeps saying - You have to turn the camera on while you're cooking! But there are so many moving parts, I always forget! I'll try to remember next time I make a batch. ❤️

My goodness, you are fearless and so inventive...a sander!
Haha! I used to work on a construction crew in my early 20's, so I know my way around a sander!! 😂💕😂
Glad you are back. I've missed being inspired by you. I'm so sorry you had to go through so much. It's hard, but we've all been thinking of you.

Thank you so much Gwen.. Baking is a bit like stitching; they both require complete focus.

Thanks so much Roxanne. Yes, no airfare needed. And we see more of him now than when he and his girlfriend were living with us! ❤️
