Hi Paulina! I own Fragrance World's Ace of Spades and King of Diamonds. I adore Ace of Spades for all the reasons you stated; it is a sweeter, less smokey version of By the Fireplace. I like aspects of the OG, but I find Ace suits me better. I also have King of Diamonds and ....yes....it is complex and interesting. 😉 I love that mango in the beginning, but as it starts to dry down, you get the unmistakable, VERY realistic note of cannabis, even though it is not listed in the notes. So as a woman of a certain age ( i.e. old), I am wondering where I can wear this as my clubbing days are long behind me.😂 Still, I am gonna keep it for the uniqueness factor.

I want to cry every time I hear someone say that By The Fireplace isn't sweet on them! I'm so jealous, I desperately want that woody smokiness evewryone else gets but on me it's unbearably, intensely sickly-sweet 😭
Have you tried some of the clones like Ameer Al Oud? I know there are others, I can't think of them at the moment, but I remember reading reviews on Fragrantica complaining that some of them are "too smoky". It definitely was one of the Middle Eastern dupes. Hope that helps 😊
I think I found one of them. I've not smelled it to confirm but "smoke" is in the top notes. It's called Majd Al Sultan by Asdaaf. Good luck to you on your search! 😊
2 I've tried that are similar to BTF and that have "smoky" listed in the accords are Raghba (Ladies version) and Raghba Wood Intense. The last one is very inexpensive but nice. I would like to be sweeter cuz I like that.

Are the aroma west perfumes available in the US?
I've shopped from every possible Arabic perfume shop in Lithuania (where royalsperfume is based from) and Aroma West is not exclusive only at royals so they can chill a bit ;) perfume shops are really trying to shove Aroma West by advertising the shit out of this brand but it's honestly shit... i have aroma therapy, aroma rose and raheeb and sampled (thank god) hijrat, and i never reach for them. also bottles are just basic 😮💨

Omg you found a dupe for Narcos'Is!! Thank you, I'm obsessed with it, I simply can't put it down! I can't get enough of it, it reminds me of Sugardaddy from Fugazzi and also of all my favorites - Delina, Baccarat, Liam Grey, Minuit et Demi all in one. It layers perfectly with all of them too, I switch it up with the season. Oh but I can't wear it to the work because on top of everything else it also smells a bit like mango w33d😂❤
