I once gave up on God, however now I wear the cross upon my neck and my mind is now geeked with only good thoughts knowing that our Heavenly Father above is watching over me. I’m so glad to say that I am now a full blooded Christian now and live each day by his praises. God is great, God is good. And the whole church says... AMEN!!!

I was raised very (conservative) Church of Christ, and we sang this kind of acapella music every service. I miss hearing it. It was heartfelt, and many of those voices that I hear (in my head from the past) are now gone. I look to and have hope of seeing them again.

I’ve always wanted to sing in a southern gospel quartet, but the opportunity has yet to come along. I never thought of forming my own quartet and filling every role myself. Maybe my dream can materialize after all!

Amen Anthony, I can only reiterate every word of your comment. I have not listened to one of these songs yet and was not either swept up in the joy of praise or calmed by beautiful lyrics sung so wonderfully. These videos are truly a blessing to me.

@@mjssenkumba6491 perhaps, but I have personally sung with men who could do this without any editing. A few men can do this, but not many. :) I remember several years ago singing acapela hyms in our congregational singing. A gentleman sitting in front of my wife and I literally made the bench he was setting on vibrate with his incredible bass. He usually sang tenor, very high tenor - and sang it very, very well. He had an amazing range, and he sang extremely well throughout the range. I know of another man who can do similarly. I have been blessed to know several men who do not edit, nor need to edit their voices, nor their recordings. They are tone and pitch perfect. Incredible! :)
