Making a Wooden Toy Race Car From Scrap Wood! // Easy Woodworking Project

- I Really hate getting rid of wood, even if it's bottom of the barrel scraps. So for this project, I grabbed a couple of pretty gnarly 2x4 cutoffs from my burn pile and decided to turn them into a wooden toy race car. Even though I free handed the design, I have a soft spot for Mustangs and it seemed to have come out in my design. This wooden toy car is a very simple design, but I will make the plans available on my website for those who want to skip the design part and get right into the build. The wooden wheels I used were purchased from Amazon, I'll leave a link bellow. I purchase the wheels because I like the details added to them and they are really cheap. You get a whole bag, so there's plenty left for many more wooden cars, or any other wooden vehicles. If you don't want to purchase them, you can easily make your own with a hole saw bit. I know this project is super simple, but sometimes those are the best; it can be so relaxing to just make something, whether it's big or small. I hope this project inspires you to just get out there and make something for the fun of it. Thanks for watching!!
