- I created a fake viral relationship rumour to see how easy it is to create fake gossip online! I went undercover and our first target was the KPOP community and more specifically Jackson Wang I reported fake news and rumours on him and other celebrities to see how easily I could trick their fans and catfish the internet without them having any idea!

Or the fake news could ruin the idol’s career and lives. If you’ve done your research, you’ll see the many dating rumors that caused idols to get hate, threats online and in person and worse. These rumors can make or break idols. So just be careful.
As a long time kpop fan, also SNSD Stan. Jackson Wang being with any of Girls Generation, Hyuna oder Suzy is so incredibly unlikely 😂 if you try to spread a dating rumor, consolidate a real kpop fan who can tell you what would be realistic 😅

@@mirrors342 both taeyeon and yoona are really private with their lives... taeyeon dated an EXO member back in 2015 I guess and got MASSIVE hate over it, since then not another rumor hit her. same for yoona, all her dating rumors are basically actors she stars with. AND it's really uncommon to see idols from different companies hanging out as friends... Hyuna I guess would be the best one on his list, but she's been kinda lowkey since the breakup with Dawn (the WHOLE relationship was CRAZY, with both of them being "fired" from their company for... dating) kpop fans are on another level because the industry is on another level...
so i guess it would be easier to believe if the rumor was if jihyo or nayeon from twice, as they were in the same company for years...

Be careful with this kind of stuff, if you actually make a believable dating rumor about an idol with a dating ban they could get fired from their job, dating scandals in Korea aren’t the same as scandals here, they can ruin your life.

I could see how it would fail easily. I think picking taeyeon who is a huge celebrity in Korea is a bad move. Her schedule is pretty much transparent to her fans. Even if not, kpop stars have paid social media like bubble which they posted exclusive content there and that might be totally opposite with the rumours. So it is hard to trick fans. It might be easier to pick someone less famous or from China (since Jackson Wang are active in China and Chinese celebrities are less transparent to international fans comparing to Korean ones)

even if a rumor is proven 100% to be fake, it still will impact their career in Korea, some literally get kicked out of their company and lose their jobs, over fake rumors

A rumor is a venom in the KPOP Community. It would hurt the artists even if it's proven false. Whether it's believable or not, it could ruin careers in the kpop circle.

i know this video is just for fun and jokes but please be careful as kpop stans are ruthless:( sometimes these rumors are taken so seriously by some toxic fans that it may even end up detroying the singer's/artist's career ! This might be crazy to non kpop stans but unfortunately there are some that actually take these runors seriously 😭😭

Besides the fact that we get schedules, this was ridiculous to begin with. It's not that likely, that Jackson and Taeyeon even interacted that much. We don't know obviously, but still it seems quite unlikely. Suzy would have been a way better pick! We at least can tell fosho, that they know each other and interacted to some compacity. Since they both were signed to JYPE and there are friendships between their respected group. Also that poor girl get's dating rumors pinned on her on yearly bases atp and had a ton of overseas activities at that time. I think people would have bet less an eye on that one. For the next time start something within a company, people are more likely to believe that because these idols work at least in the same building. Because as we know idols don't have a life outside of their work and loving their fans, lol. 😂
some tips.. pick a less famous counterpart, know their schedules beforehand, check bubble/weverse etc. where they interact with fans daily, and stay in korea (seoul!!!) I don't know if it's possible to get koreaboo/dispatch/pann's attention, but those outlets are known for spreading all kinds of rumors and plants some realism. prepare well if you're going for a dating rumor, because fans will do anything to debunk it 😂

The one thing I don’t like about this, is you really did start rumors, and this could have ended very badly for these idols. The kpop community is a harsh community and dating scandals can make or break idols. So many rumors get spread around and it causes fanwars, idols getting hate and threats, people threading in real life, and so on. Just be careful when spreading “fake” news like this. Saying rumors is the worst thing you could have chosen for a kpop idol. I really hope this doesn’t actually blast up and ruin their career or even image.

@@Hyukaring you must be new to Kpop because rumors have ruined idol’s images and so much worse then fans just going crazy. Look up any dating rumor. Fans send hate and d*th threats which can be (and has proven) to mess with idols emotions. Also, cause these idols to be constantly harassed in person and online. Look at what the bullying rumors did to idols who were later proven innocent? They had to leave the group, same with dating rumors. Look at how dating rumors that became true did to idols who actually liked each other, but they couldn’t enjoy it. Why do you think idols don’t let us know they are dating until they magically get married and have a kid? This rumor also causes issues between company wars as well. Jackson has been getting alot of hate lately for his behavior(which I don’t think is right, he just needs help), being in a rumor with him would cause these girls a bad image as well. These types of rumors has happened for decades in kpop and each time, it never ends well unless the company speaks out about it right away.

Jackson Wang is actually CHINESE artist who was part of the kpop group Got7 as their rapper. Nowadays he's pursuing his solo career though and all of his music is either in English or Chinese. He makes some banger music and he's my Spotify's all time top 3 artist

I've been a kpop fan for a long time and it was fun to see you try, especially because the rumor didn't make sense (taking into account the people you selected) hahaha, aahh and Jackson is Chinese, not Korean. I think it's better not to try any more with people in kpop, because it's very difficult to sustain the rumor, plus several artists have paid chats with fans and they are very updated many times.

Especially dating ones, some KPOP stans are OBSESSIVE to the point where they cross boundaries. When Hyuna was confirmed to be dating Dawn she was kicked out of her company, got death threats, lost brand deals, etc. A Korean actor who was in parasite committed after a drug rumor surfaced. Even though he was confirmed to not be taking any, after a girl accused him of it, he still committed because the hate was too much. Even simple rumors can break an idol's career. George doesn't know a lot about the korean industry so thank God he made up something that seemed unlikely to everrr happen 😅
