The Collaborative: Episode 55. Orlando Magic Team Reporter, Kendra Douglas.

The Collaborative, established in 2020, is hosted by Sydnee Walker and is focused on connecting seasoned veterans in the Sports and Entertainment Industry with aspiring Journalists and PR Professionals via virtual and in person fireside chats. Kendra Douglas joined us for our January session.
A two-time Edward R. Murrow Award winner, sports anchor and reporter, Douglas spent three years as a sports anchor and reporter at WESH 2 News (WESH-TV NBC) in Orlando. In addition to covering the Magic while at WESH, she covered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the team’s Super Bowl run in 2021, as well as the Tampa Bay Rays, both the NWSL and MLS, and a range of other teams in Central Florida.
Douglas is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Journalism, with a concentration in Broadcast and Electronic Journalism. While at UNC, she was a member of the Track & Field Team. Douglas is a member of the Junior League of Orlando, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and a Cure Bowl Ambassador.
