Max Pacioretty played 14:26 per game with Washington. Jason Spezza played 13:08 in his last two seasons in Dallas, then went on to play 10:51 per game in Toronto. Even if Pacioretty is the most talented LW on the team, I don't know if he would play in the Top-6. For one, they kind of need that P1 type of player who can dog it pretty hard in the corners. The money Toronto offers will be irrelevant. They will offer a superb training and medical staff that will work with him to get the most longevity out of the season as possible. They will offer a role which he works with his ability to handle the ice-time, provide veteran leadership, and a chance to compete for the Cup.

Toronto's left wing is a bit weak. He'd probably bounce back and forth from the 2nd and 3rd line.
Geez!!! Pacioretty?!? They are getting desperate...😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha he can still play a bit 🫡
Not going to happen End of story
I kind of prefer somebody younger getting the opportunity in my opinion for the Maple Leafs. Give the opportunity to Cowan!
