I just used my regular battery charger (connecting + to + and - to - with simple wires) to charge a cell that was below 2V up to 2.1V. The other two cells were already around 2.1-2.8V. This allowed me to run the software and unlock the battery. The regular charger took care of the rest. I didn't perform any welding or other complex procedures like the ones shown in the video you mentioned. Just so you know, I used the software and equipment demonstrated in the "Battery Mavic Air Repair (Remove Permanent Fail)" video.
bro, you should charge each cell one by one with 1S lipo charger to 4.2v each. cells need to be balanced and rate of charge not more than 1-2C. You really gave these batteries a heart attack. Surprised that u did not start a fire.
Great video Stan. I used the information you provided in this video along with other videos and written instructions I've looked at to successfully revived two of my Mavic Air 1 batteries. The only thing I did differently than your method was that after I slow charged the entire battery above 12v, I removed the charging wires I soldered to those two terminals and then closed the battery back up and proceeded to use the debug board. I hooked up a positive and neutral lead to a small 12v sealed battery to activate it for programming, but it reduced the amount of soldering required and meant that I didn't have to open the battery back up to remove the positive lead after reprogramming the chip. Thanks again for inspiring me to have the confidence to do it myself. BTW I like the artist you had playing while you were testing and soldering the battery.
Does anyone knows if is used tungsten solder to sold the cells in case of change them ? A friend sad to me that the solder to use has to be for aluminium.
Hi sir, I followed exactly same step as your video, after charging battery cells and connecting jumper, drone got power on and I manage to update firmware too. After updating firmware I tried to reset/unseal using CP2112 but it still shows error saying ERROR: Could not perform SMBus read 0x00. Any idea what else I can try to revive it? Thanks in advance:)

Did you manage to find a solution. I am having the same issue
@@MrNdinotenda I had this issue too a few months ago. I just needed more Voltage.
If I send my battery to you, can you fix it for me? I'll pay you
Tested po sir? You can edit the voltage,?
I don't understand the question, sorry.
Try my 3 battry dead
Really appreciate the info...I'm hoping this works. I'll keep ya posted...plus gonna try the glue gun instead of soldering.Hopefully all goes well...😂
Good luck 👍
brother in christ... if you can't solder please don't "repair" batteries. batteries are capable of causing serious harm.

Do you have a way I can contact you? Very interesting video. I have the DJI Spark with the same batteries.
