    EDC Multi-Tool Belt Holster Tutorial
    Kayleena's brother asked for a universal multi tool holster that he could easily take on and off a belt for work, so he didn't have to remove his belt every time he wanted to take off the holster. This leather EDC holster is a great little design that fits many different multi tools, and is held on with line 24 snaps so as to be easily removable! We used Buckleguy's new Newbury Leathers line in South Street to add a little luxury, and finished off the piece with some Ritza Tiger Thread!

    I think I’ll add a hole on the non-snap side. Allows for you to “eject” the multi tool if it’s a tight fit.

      Thanks for the ejector hole idea. I also modified the belt attachment to have two straps so they can straddle a belt loop.

    Would ist not be possible to have the gussets not to be extra pieces of leather? I do some design work work myself and I know how hard it can be. Just a thought for improvement. Like the idea maybe you guys think about something in the same style but vertical. The idea with the snaps I like a lot. You could even add a second pocket for a flashlight. Thank you guys for the nice videos.

    I'm asking on behalf of another video you made a few months back (I just started watching your content), on which you discuss stitch styles, and I was wondering if you could cover tie offs/knots and figuring out the length of string to use to ensure you're not over or under using. I'm planning to make my first leather project soon, and would like pointers on getting it right sooner, rather than letting hindsight do the job.

    • @solluxcaptor5743

    Cool! You are pretty talented. This is first video of yours I have watched. Can you handle some constructive criticism? Can you maybe get a mic for your shirt? I had to turn the volume up to hear what you were saying, then when the ads came on.... Yikes! I realized how much I turned the volume up. Otherwise I enjoyed your content. Neat idea on the holster. I often wondered why companies didn't make them this way, (horizontal instead of vertical).

  • @DanielKosterKnives
    @DanielKosterKnives 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Would carry better with the snaps below, not above. You could also make a version that allows for vertical carry too by cutting a slot on the fold and stitching around it to reinforce it. Lastly, add a curve to your gussets to avoid “binding” like the 2nd multi tool had when you inserted it. Best wishes. Great design.

    • @Corter

    Apparently you've never used an multi-tool or carried it for very long, I would close the upper and lower base holes they only allow dust and rain onto the tool and punch a 3/4 h or smaller hole in the base end to allow your finger to push the tool out. Also having to belt snaps on the top will only pinch your skin when you sit down. love the ideas and the camera work
