@@juliane_steinwachs-zeil I realy dont know if it is your technical skills or the real acoustic piano. The dynamics are better in playing very soft and sensible. I love my Kawai but sometimes I wish I had such a piano.
Dear Bram, I feel the exact opposite! I often wish I had a good digital piano that is always perfectly tuned and, above all, where the attacks are always even. On my grand piano, the attacks are uneven. They are intoned differently. And with a digital piano, this is always even. I can play a consistent piano on a digital piano, but on my grand piano, some notes are louder, some are quieter; it is uneven. It is not easy to create even dynamics! 😅
@@juliane_steinwachs-zeil There are a few big differences between digital and acoustic. With an acoustic piano the dynamics are infinite, with a digital one it is fixed and therefore limited. That is why playing very softly is extremely difficult. An acoustic piano really sings because the strings fibrous and you can just feel that under your fingers. The tone generation with a digital piano is therefore very different. I often find the tone purer and clearer with a digital one and recording is also much easier due to the USB function. The keyboard of my Kawai is great and I think the best on the market. Plays great but it is not alive.
@@abrahammulder Yes, I also have a digital piano in addition to my grand piano. It's a Kawai ES8, a stage piano that I can quickly set up somewhere else. I practice on it in the evenings with headphones. The best thing is certainly a grand piano that is perfectly tuned, but also perfectly intoned. The timbre of all the notes must be the same. For this, the piano tuner has to come once a week and tune and intonate! 😅 Wonderful!! That would be it!!👌 😎

@@juliane_steinwachs-zeil I realy dont know if it is your technical skills or the real acoustic piano. The dynamics are better in playing very soft and sensible. I love my Kawai but sometimes I wish I had such a piano.
Dear Bram, I feel the exact opposite! I often wish I had a good digital piano that is always perfectly tuned and, above all, where the attacks are always even. On my grand piano, the attacks are uneven. They are intoned differently. And with a digital piano, this is always even. I can play a consistent piano on a digital piano, but on my grand piano, some notes are louder, some are quieter; it is uneven. It is not easy to create even dynamics! 😅
@@juliane_steinwachs-zeil There are a few big differences between digital and acoustic. With an acoustic piano the dynamics are infinite, with a digital one it is fixed and therefore limited. That is why playing very softly is extremely difficult. An acoustic piano really sings because the strings fibrous and you can just feel that under your fingers. The tone generation with a digital piano is therefore very different.
I often find the tone purer and clearer with a digital one and recording is also much easier due to the USB function. The keyboard of my Kawai is great and I think the best on the market. Plays great but it is not alive.
@@abrahammulder Yes, I also have a digital piano in addition to my grand piano. It's a Kawai ES8, a stage piano that I can quickly set up somewhere else. I practice on it in the evenings with headphones.
The best thing is certainly a grand piano that is perfectly tuned, but also perfectly intoned. The timbre of all the notes must be the same. For this, the piano tuner has to come once a week and tune and intonate! 😅 Wonderful!! That would be it!!👌 😎
