I like nagamani Srinath garu and many many heartfelt namaskarames to my great guruvugaru what a great full teaching of for all like me. K.suguna sastry. Light music artist in a.i.r hyderabad.
Iam very thankful to the teacher.I wished my daughter to learn carnatic music from gurumukhataha from 2 teachers at hyderabad, and have been directed wrongly. This video helps me to make my dream come true.Iam very much thankful to you mam.
AWESOME video. I love this video and recommend others to watch and learn. Thanks for educating the community and appreciate your volunteer-ship. Thanks a bunch
So grateful for this video! Clear instruction verbally and visually. Aesthetically pleasing too. Thank you for making this available for us to learn and review.
Can you point me to any recordings of the teacher performing? I also notice that her intonation is much more subtle than that of the pupils, who seem influenced by Western 12-tone equal temperament.
+jsleith You can search the net for "Nagamani Srinath". Typically, students are not taught "gamakas" (or embellishments to the notes) when they start learning music. So, they mostly sing plain notes or svaras. The teacher however can sing with subtle variations as it is in-grained in his/her music due to their experience and practice.
Very good. But, the pace is fast, especially in second and third kaalas. For comparison see lessons by Dr. Nookala China Satyanarayanagaaru where a student can actually learn from the videos.Nevertheless, 👍
