I understand, I was an emotional wreck when I had to put my dog down, and he was quite old and sickly at the time. I can't imagine how hard it was for you. Those chairs look gorgeous. My 2022 word is hope. So many things I felt hopeless about last year are working themselves out this year.

I lost my 13 year old bunny in November and I still cry randomly during the day because I miss her so much. Please give yourself the time to grieve. When it comes to animals we kind of categorize it as not that bad because they're "just animals" but losing your fur baby can be one of the worst pains. Please take care of you. They become a best friend, a secret keeper, the banishers of a bad day, and most of all family. And its one of the hardest things when they leave this Earth. I'm really not in a good mental place right now, and I've been crying all day (all week, really). When I saw that you posted a video, I was so so happy, I finally thought I could relax a bit and forget my life. And then, you talk about your cats, and I just criiiiied. It, somewhat, felt good to cry "with" someone and to just evacuate my feelings with you, like if I was with a good friend.
I, myself, have two beautiful fur babies (two females with beautiful souls and personalities), and knowing the pain you must have right now is chattering. I am so sorry for your loss, this is so hard. I lost my first cat ever three years ago and I still mourn her some days. a lot of people don’t understand how difficult it can be to lose a pet but my dog passed a few years ago now and it was one of the hardest times for me ever. a loss is still a loss at the end of the day whether it’s a person or a cat or any animal. give yourself the time to heal and don’t feel any pressure. look after yourself and take care. rest in peace 🤍

I'm so sorry Brittany. It's double hard to lose a pet unexpectedly. I had a cat that died at 5 from a heart defect and even though we knew she had it, it's still sad and I think about her all the time, 15 years later.
So sorry to hear about his passing, losing a furry friend is never easy, no matter how expected or not it is. Hope t'challa is running around with my black kitty, raven, in whatever kitty afterlife there is (if you believe in that)! Cats can be tough, but when one loves and accepts you as their person, it's the best thing in the world.
