Koishi is... Koishi's just insane to play as. She's a character that's great at counterattacks and has amazingly powerful attacks. However when things go wrong with Koishi, they can go very wrong... and it is very easy to mess up with her ability.

I like how Koishi and Kokoro are interesting foils of each other. Kokoro's face is completely expressionless yet she is very emotional with her masks and body language. Koishi on the other hand looks emotional with her happy expression but is an empty shell in reality as she closed her heart (her third eye). Because of this all of Koishi's actions are done by instinct while Kokoro's are done by her unstable emotions (which actually makes her more human-like). Koishi even outright states that she has no emotions (though it seems the mask of hope gives her back some of her emotions that she sealed).
Force Edge 200 that's a pretty interesting observation. And yeah, having the Mask of Hope gives Koishi, well, hope, which is why people are able to remember her without knowing her (something that is impossible otherwise since she closed her third eye) and why she's able to remember the mask even though she always forgets everything. It's also interesting to see that Kokoro wants to take the mask out of Koishi because she thinks Koishi's emotionless state is due to having the mask mess with her emotions, when in reality the mask is the only thing giving emotion to Koishi.

This is why I don't think they became bitter enemies in reality the two are the only who can relate to the other and Koishi is always near Kokoro ever since.
The newspapers are all like "War between religions? Nobody cares, now let's all appreciate how cute Koishi is."

Koishi is interesting here, both gameplay and story-wise. I believe that's the first time Kokoro had said something with a somewhat level-headed manner when she declared Koishi must not be like her.
Then again, having hope after living with no emotions at all for so long can be pretty addicting, because you will only truly feel alive when emotions run through you. So I don't blame her for not wanting to hand back the one reason she has to be alive. I had fun seeing her beat people up just for the heck of it xD
For once, it's not Marisa pissing off the bad guys. I have to wonder how intentional Koishi's trolling is.
About Koishi...
I think she wants attention because in the past I think everyone hated her because she can read minds so she closed her eyes that lets her read minds but closing her eye affects her feelings as well. Now she's unable to feel anything and she has the ability to be forgotten when people take their eyes off her. But right now she's feeling happy because she's gaining attention. I think

Koishi is now my favorite character, for taking out Taoism while only scratching the surface of both Buddhism and Shintoism (the latter she barely scratched since it was Mamizou disguised as our favorite shrine maiden).

Koishi is the most fun for me to play as, because she's very unpredictable. All your opponent knows is that you're going to do something. They don't know what, they don't know when. They just know it'll happen.

Annotations were a feature that youtube removed a few months ago. Pretty annoying, considering that many videos, including educational ones, relied on them heavily.

It's her strong up melee attack. Though remember you have to set it up first, then it'll only go off if you're under your opponent
