It's in an error condition with a stuck task in the queue and you expect it to behave normally? I agree, it could handle the situation better, but why don't you stop the print job, instead of hoping that a second error condition will override the behavior of the first error condition?
The error should be handled differently. Yes, I could have stopped the print but then I would have lost the print. If the printer is in a pause state, the printer should be in a pause state.
