With too much of the latter, the picture would be an incomprehensible mess. It's in striking a balance between the two that we find true beauty. Kind of like life itself.

Yes, it's all the same ink with either more ink stick grinding (for darker) or more water (for lighter).

What's that written on your hanko stamp? I checked both Japanese and Chinese dictionaries and could only find one of the characters.
I'm told that it says something like lon-nie (or lon-nee) which is the closest you can get to Ronnie.
