Honestly, it has to be a glitch when your rival supports you in a match. It's been happening in a lot of matches though, not necessarily rivals. Think they got it flipped.

If you just want to get to top of the rankings you just have to have a rival with the champ and if that doesn't work then you rival with the number 1 contender and if that doesn't work you edit the fight before the show and have a fight with the champ and win then you have a title shot.

If you wonder why Seth Rollins reversed when ge shouldn't have been able to, it's beacuse 2k have added in the thing that if you hit your opponent three times when he is on the ground he will automatically reverse on the fourth hit.
