Everyone knows Keanu loved Jennifer and was taking care of her and that he loved their baby. Why isn't that enough for you? He wasn't in love with her. She was in love with him, but he didn't reciprocate with those feelings. So what? They were not even living together and there were no plans to marry. They were not even seen together at a public function. And don't come back with this "he was protecting her" crap. Keanu doesn't even "protect" his own beloved sisters and mother from the public eye, why would he need to shelter Jennifer that way? She was a grown woman. A major aspect I like about John Wick is that he isn't ridiculously in shape or muscular like a lot of these types of characters normally are but still pulls off being intimidating & dangerous.
