Rhett turned into Dobby the Elf there at the end 😂😂😂
Dobby the Pooh
I was thinking Winnie the Pooh but yeah Dobby is more accurate!
why is this not the top comment, omfg, yes.
I thought he sounded like prof. McGonagall
Rhett and Link attempting British accents is funny but perplexing 😂. I feel so confused. I NEED them to do an episode where they work with an accent coach 😂😍
It's as if an Australian landed in England and tried to blend in
@@Violianom but also spent a bit of time in the American South 😂. It's rough 😂😂😂😂
I feel like the accents are JUST barely enough to fit in but you’d definitely be thinking that lad spoke funny after hearing him 😂
@@Violianom As kiwi, sounded pretty familiar lol.
Link is hovering over Liverpool with his first accent attempt.😂
I liked hearing Link immediately come up with Rhod Gilbert’s tie yourself up task strategy. He was much more in the spirit of Taskmaster than Rhett in the main episode, just in how much creative license he took in interpreting the rules. They were both fun to watch, though.
A Link and Rhod team up would be amazing. And now I would desperately like for this to come true. I think he'd be so good on TM.
I was thinking the same thing! I would have loved to see the crew come up with a part 2 where they have to free themselves like the siren portion of the task, similar to what they did on TM
I don't think it was the spirit, I think Rhett tries to think logical and Link is just go big or go home
@@Colgan1 go big or go home or go spend 30 minutes asking questions only to answer with "skin" 😂
@@teemuaho4807 @Teemu Aho but the task wasn't quickest time was it. So if he did get it right, he would of won. Even with the most questions asked he would of won. Time was irrelevant
Rhett really went full Winnie the Pooh at the end. 😆
HAHA 100%
Oh my gosh, he really did, and now I can't stop laughing. 😂
As a brit, this is highly entertaining
I bet! I'm from Georgia so I'm southern like Rhett and Link and I just don't even attempt a British accent (even tho I'd love to be able to do it)...I feel like I'd just completely embarrass myself 🤣
@@Mythicalbeast_KatieWilson I'm southern as well and one of my favorite activities is to look in the mirror and attempt a british accent. I always end up laughing so hard at myself
@@maiamaiapapaya I'll have to try that! It would definitely be entertaining 😄
@@Mythicalbeast_KatieWilsonWhich one?
Link's British Accent is basically the Grinch...🤣
Reminds me of Monty Python's gumbys
With a little bit of Beatles thrown in
Rhett: "you ever tried that?"
Link: "... *Shakes head* ...yes..."
💀🤣
What's funny about it is EVERYBODY knows exactly what he meant and he didn't even say anything but taking an opportunity 🤣
What is it?
@@mackenzieklein3876 if you know, you know
one of the contestants on taskmaster actually did the tie up the assistant first before tying yourself! he was never untied by the assistant in the end lol
Legend has it he is still on the soundstage awaiting his freedom
We love Rhod Gilbert
We need a stop animation version of Rhetts last bit! 🤣🤣 I would love to see that brought to life!
Exactly what i thought😭 like could totally see it animated “its not a bicycle its a tricycle its been bodged”
Rhett: "I became almost believable in like a storybook fashion" yea the story called Harry Potter where you play as Dobby LOL
Rhett does a really great Pinky impression from Pinky and the brain. 😂
😂😂😂 oh my god that’s exactly what it is! I was wondering why that sounded familiar
Link talking about pottery and “bodge” made me think that I’d love to see Rhett and Link have a pottery wheel throwing competition
Yes! A throwing wheel of mythicality.
When Link tries to speak with a British accent he always goes full Wakko and I love it
I love how whenever the wheel lands right next to gifticality, Rhett subtlety moves it onto it anyway. That’s really sweet.
Ikr, such a good man
I noticed that too!!
Rhett's accent at 14:25 was amazing!
I have never laughed so much watching you trying to get your head around British slang 😂
So true
As someone from England I had no idea what creps meant 😂
Yeah never heard anyone say creps before!
Also in wales never had a idea what it was. We call them Trainers.
It's the return of an old phase. It's been around since C19th when this type of rubber/latex sole was first produced.
Common in London!
im a little spooked at how much Rhett at the end sounded like my very british 99 year old Nan LOL
The episode and the more really had me laughing today! Link sounded a bit like an Ent when he tried to imitate Rhett.
I love how Link started to rethink everything he could have done differently in the main episode.
Being British, this is hilarious. 😂. Loving Rhett’s English accent
Gordon Bennett, these 2 bloody smashed it! Currently watching on the bog
Ayup hope ye didne forget yer roll
15 minutes on the bog 😵
Bet you're knackered.
Link equating "grass-up" with Scotland Yard was genius! No idea if he was right, but he's definitely quick sometimes
I thought the same! And no one laughed for responded😂
@@leahbelieva 🤣🤣🤣
As a British person, I've never heard of creps before xxx
It’s a chav/roadman ting
Same!
I love how Rhett turned into Salad Fingers at the end.
THANK YOU I was searching for this comment 😂
09:42 The paper did a wobbly 😂
1:27 For the third round, you should have just asked simple, straight forward questions, to get the right answer as fast as possible. Since the rules were, "if any questions are repeated, those questions are eliminated", everyone ELSE would be making a strong effort to complicate their questions to make them unique.
14:20
“I was pretty close, I got that one … It was the opposite but I won.”
Gordon Bennet is the whole sentence, its a responsive exclamation.
Link's 'Throwing a Wobbly' accent sounding like a cross of a stereotypical Dr. Watson with Vicky Pollard.
Link has never been more Dana carvey than when he was doing the British accent like Dana doing Paul McCartney
Dana doing ringo
Rhett's comparison of Link's British accent & Wakko's accent from Animaniacs being almost identical has me folded. 💀
Rhett talking about Regina's bodged bicycle sounded like an auntie I have in England. Cracked me up.
This More was so hilarious!!! Y'all did some great accents. The last one Rhett did made me think of Dobby from Harry Potter. ❤️
This makes me want to see Rhett, Link and some mythical crew members play Balderdash lol. It would be hilarious!
Rhett’s last accent was surprisingly decent 😆
At the end Rhett sounded like a mix between an old english woman and Winnie the Pooh.
Rhett sounded like Winnie the Pooh at the end there 😂😂
Link coming up with the Rhod Gilbert strategy is amazing! I love that he watched it back and thought "yeah, should've done that!" 😅
As a brit I'm happy to say I hot all of these right 😌 pretty sure the only person I've ever heard say 'Gordon Bennett' is my nan though 🤣
ive never heard crepes before, perhaps a regional thing
I've only ever heard Norman Lovett say it on the first episode of Red Dwarf.
Never heard the term crepes either! Very amusing though!
@@weaselspod9569 So do you guys just call them shoes or what? lol
@@MartyMcfly_88 shoes in general, if you are specifiying "sneakers" most would say "trainers"
Rhett sounded like Plankton when he was talking about "creps." Lmao
The Crepes Bucket 😅
Rhett's face at the end there; just the glee on his face. Love you Rhett!!
Rhett and link are as skilled at British accents as Dave Anthony on the dollop
After hearing Link come up with the strategy of tying Chase up, good luck to chase in the next one! He'll be sore for days!
No one has ever said "grass up" lol. It's they're a grass (noun) or they grassed (verb).
10:32 - Rhett going old Australian man / Mr. Democracy Manifest with that accent hahaha
They are so funny today. Probably top ten funniest today all-time! Accent's are spot on
rhett sounded like salad fingers on that last sentence 😂
As a Brit, I have never heard of throwing a wobbly
British person here. This has to be one of my favourite episodes.
Loved it and very entertaining 😀
From England and only knew about 50% of these, so good job! Nice accents!
Watching this without the context of the main episode is terrifying and hilarious. "What I should have done is tied up Chase first." WHAT??!? lol
This is pure gold! :D
That gifticality wasn’t even subtle Rhett 😂
Came to say this. Normally he at least TRIES not to be seen but not this time 😂
@@Reznic007 the last 2 years prove otherwise.
Its just nice that finally after MONTHS of fans complaining about the wheel and gifticality they decided to listen and stop
Creps? never heard that one at all? pumps(plimsoles) trainers, daps maybe....
Rhett was so very close with bodge, I was so hopeful he’d say bodge job 😂 you boys gave it a good go in any case 👌🏻
I have never even thought about any of these words! I always thought they were so self explanatory 😂
Wow ok, as a born and bred Brit for 46 years I've never heard of creps!! I thought maybe it was a term of the "yoof" but according to google it's been around like 20 years 😮 mainly used in London tho (and prob other bigger cities) so that's probably why I've never heard of it since I live in the sticks!
it was definitely a yoof term in london in the 00s, when i was a yoof in london XD and say creps and skids for my trainers.
You never heard of crep-protectors? But yeah it’s slang from the younger generation.
@@Scoobay Nope, what on earth is a crep-protector?? 😮 I assume a weather-proofing shoe spray?
I think Link stole Rhett's creps and that's why he went to Scotland Yard to grass up.
To grass *him* up.
Love seeing Link’s mind go to some Rhod Gilbertian lateral thinking for the tying yourself up task.
Goodness I’d love to see Link on Taskmaster. I think he’d be alternately wonderful and awful at it 😂
Gordon Bennett in a sentence would be used more like this . Gordon Bennett! That man just kicked a dog.
Rhett’s last impression reminded me of dobby from Harry Potter.
Rhett gave me serious Robin Cooper vibes at the end! Great stuff!
The ensemble accents are the best. Especially that last one.
I haven't laughed this hard in a while omg 😂
It’s “wobbler”
Tumble Puffs is my favorite.
Bunny Hug my 2nd favorite.
Ok but I love Rhett's "old British grandma" accent XD
2:05
He said it as though there’s a word “nackered” that he was thinking of, and that’s why he got it wrong.
5:39 Link's front teeth and his lips shaped like that make he looks like a mouse like from that british cartoon about mouse, Detective something or the rescuers
You both are a gift and part of our family and have been for many years. Both my huband and I were watching since the beginning. Always fun, always entertaining and I loved my merch that I bought. Keep going guys, you change lives ♥ As an aussie, I knew every one of these English slang words lol
Even creps? I hadn't heard that one before
Ssuuurreeee
@@knivesintoasters Ive heard of crepes from a english friend of the family years ago, its the only way I knew that one lol
@@brucebonner3491 Problems?
watching this at 6:02am. Good Mythical Morning!!!
i think the "grass up" phrase is an extension of "snake in the grass", where the snake is a snitch or maybe rat or stool pigeon
I'd love an Ear Biscuits episode where the two of you switch up accents and just not acknowledge it
the throwing a wobbley is the best one
I didn't know Creps must be a regional saying. I use bodge quite a bit but I am mending things a lot.
As a Canadian who watches A LOT of British tv, I crushed thus!
Certified Brit here and my whole life the term is to grass ON not UP. Or just to call someone a grass.
You can grass someone up. Or grass on them. Both are used.
@@karenpaxton huh, fair enough!
This is the best 😂 as a Brit, thank you. 😂
I'm always sad when the episode is over.
😂This is hilarious!! I’m Australian but we use a lot of these terms too!
Rhett is so much better at a British accent. I shut my eyes and that's an old British woman
as a british person, link your accent is spot on
13:58 WOAHHH LINKKK, YOUR WHAT HAVE BEEN BODGED?!?!?!
There should be more
During the Regina bit, Rhett sounded like Pooh bear 😂
13:58 The look on rhetts face 😧
As a Brit....this was correct.
rhetts scentence with "bog roll" had me surprised
Been English myself I found this episode hilarious
I am here for rhett's jacket. v nice 👌
crying with laughter but getting slightly concerned with how many people outside of the uk still think we speak like posh victorians 🤣its hilarious, amusing but definitely needs updating guys 😂😂
The only one I've ever heard is creps it's usually used as part of urban slang and youth culture lmao
Rhett sure had a weird head position to talk about his creps 🤣 I feel like if he didnt have a beard, we would see a great double chin when he talks like that .😂 His statement of around the island then you found my creps was hilarious 🤣🤣
Why did Rhett have to go that way with the toilet paper 😭😭
I know! I was thinking he was referring to the using the acutal toilet paper at first. But then near the end I gathered he was referring to the... middle of the roll 🤣
14:44?Rhett was approaching winnie the pooh 😹
I agree!!! 💯👍 So similar. 😂
Should do Scottish slang words, lots of old Scots words still used today
scots is a whole language XD they would be there like "????" even given the sentence
@@aerongray2228 Scot’s is a dialect, Gaelic is a language !
both can be considered languages
@@peacocktelly gaelic is indeed a language - but scots is either a dialect or a language and every time ive ever seen the topic come up it turns into a HUGE debate XD
Being British. I love hearing this😂
Rhetts accent at 11:00 was great haha It was nice to see them divert away from the stereotypical accents 😄
as a brit, I've never heard of the gordon bennet thing...at all
😂❤️ the re-enactments
