The development cycle of the game really needs to change. It just makes the game updates take much longer and even then bugs get through because of no proper testing being done. Vetex does not like changing existing stuff in the game or fixing bugs as he has to work on existing stuff in the game and not make anything new. That wastes his motiviation and time and I can understand that. The way the cycle works right now, is that since barely any testing gets done, the game gets released with an update that vetex took 1 month to make. He can make these content updates within 1 month for sure. The problem is, the updates get released with so many bugs and problems that have to get changed over the month after the release, which takes time obviously, and that time then gets added to the total update cycle of the game, causing updates to take more time overall. Which then people complain about why updates take so long, its because the problem lies in the game development cycle itself.

He probably just doesn't want the game to be copied off and just yoinked and remade in a different game, and Roblox has no system to change it because Roblox has their own dumb system for allowing or not allowing what other people can do. Which is probably why he doesn't want to get more devs into the game as it becomes a security problem. Not only that, he doesn't want to lose control over his game and I can understand that, but he needs to realize that Arcane Odyssey or the community has become much larger than what it was before, and being a solo dev isn't going to cut it. He is already offloading modeling to other people which is great, but he needs to do it for things like stat changes as well. He can create a system for it where he can just insert a table from the balance team to make changes to numbers in an existing file in the game or something. If he doesn't want to get a helper, he can make a system which the balance team can change by themselves in-game.

finally people are finally complaining about testers there are so many bugs that i find my self that somehow the testers haven't found yet i know how to break the game in many ways for exemple one of the new bugs that i found my self iron leg imbue does not work on karexe broad sword instead you get warrior aura when you imbue it
found a bug with insanity 4 and 5 so that it wouldn't kill you, making OP insanity 5 builds possible, and i reported it last update, AFTER a mod said it'd be brought to vetexes attention
i found another, if you use shift lock and dash when you are in the endlag of a beam attack, your dash distance is more longer as if you were using agility, lol
It’s so disorganised, they put in the minimum amount of effort and most of them just play warrior/mage, so other classes don’t get checked. I doubt they go into the dark sea, because why would they? They can give themselves things, so why go into the dark sea? Obviously now the dark sea is filled with bugs
most bugs are probably already known. such as for example getting completely stuck in your ship while driving it. that puts you in a weird state of being able to access your inventory and hotbarr making you unable to move off the ship. this is annoying cuz for some reason it happens exclusively in the dark sea
Vetex should double down on his pride sometimes, other games with small development teams or made by single developers do things so much differently like hosting tester and even game mod applications and if you pass those applications and don’t do your job, your privileges would be removed. It has worked out wonderfully for other games and I’m pretty sure Vetex also sees that and knows that.

100% Agree. There are many things that should be fixed. My main request would be to have more people also on development. Things that should be fixed or reconsidered: Testers that actually care about the game (and do their fcking job) More moderators More people that actually develop game.
There's a lot of reasons all along the pyramid as to why AO is buggy, glitchy, badly balanced, etc tbh. While we can't specifically fault a particular group, the way tester is given out is definitely flawed... same with the whole pyramid, again. Least the game is cool to play sometimes :>
Femsell ranting into your right ear: On a more serious note, not all testers even have the tester role in the group to access the test universe. I know a guy who has both the tester and friend role but has no in game permissions or access to the TU. He said that the tester role used to not do anything, so there was no reason for testers to get the role.
The AO playerbase shouldn’t be the ones actually testing updates as they come out given if we lose stuff due to a bug added by an update (remember the great weapon purge?) we have to face the FULL consequences of it given there’s basically no compensation for the stuff we lose.
It shouldn't just be TH-camrs, it should be people who genuinely play the game and know the ins and outs of the game. People who have 500+ hours in the game and I already know many who have 1000+

Everyone asks for that but then also complains when an update with new content takes forever. We all have to pick a lane to be on and not be hypocritical about what we want in the game. Even I agree that we just need an update to just fix all the bugs in the game, but for vetex, it will be the most boring and worst time for him as fixing bugs in code is NOT FUN at all. Everyone would have to wait a while for it to happen, and it's just a lose lose situation for everyone, when it is in the works. Only after it's done, then it will be a win.

Do *MULTIPLE* takes on paragraphs, and then edit them together, or you'd have this unclear person who stutters their words, and that impacts view quality. 2: DON'T BE AFRAID OF HAVING TO DO MULTIPLE TAKES. Confidence is KEY for sounding concise, and confident, don't feel like your voice is annoying, or bad sounding, just do whatever you can to clear your mind or relax, and speak. 3: Don't jump from point to point, have actual, clear transitions that make sense. An example of you quickly jumping from point to point is 2:25. You first go the point of the size scaling bug being fixed, but then immediately jump to complaining about clanbuilding, then jump to warrior and storm of arrows, then jump BACK to complaining about testers. You jumped from 2 topics back to the ORIGINAL topic in under 30 seconds. If you want to include elements or aspects of something, you should try and make them long, feel fluent and smooth, and transition well. Overall though, you've got potential, and I do hope to see you improve. ^w^
To be honest I've tried scripted and typically get more complaints normally not for this one but I'll make myself a layout and then take like 30 second pauses in the recordings for myself while editing to be able to easily cut any bad takes like the one im currently working on will probably be better structured

I think Vetex should go back to the Arcane Adventures way and make test universe just a few robux to buy in and open to everyone. To fix story spoilers he could just save all the story for the very last and publish it for maybe an hour before the real release date for short story parts like mistral. People will test the shit out of this game for cheaper than free but Vetex doesn't for some unknowable reason.

There needs to be justice for AO's development, even though there are testers that are active, what about the rest? The rest are slacking off and not doing their job. Many of us will just quit the game eventually if the bugs get too much or the testers (that are inactive) do not get back to their job, many of us will want justice for a ruined animaton pack (lazy animation pack), terrible game development cycle like Arceyplayz says about the cycle of development of this game, the balancing changes not being tested out properly and so much more. The main problem is, there are testers who can help and play the game to find bugs before an update comes out and they don't, and people who aren't testers who play the game and find bugs in the main game and report them, but they're not testers by any means 💀

For what I think should be done, there should be atleast ONE person that vetex needs to allow in the game to do just number changes for the balance team. This will literally fix so many problems, like vetex wouldn't have to work with number changes what so ever because he wouldn't have to work on changes to make from the balance doc, someone else would do it for him. Since he himself doesn't want to do it.

I think Vetex should go back to the Arcane Adventures way and make test universe just a few robux to buy in and open to everyone. To fix story spoilers he could just save all the story for the very last and publish it for maybe an hour before the real release date for short story parts like mistral. People will test the shit out of this game for cheaper than free but Vetex doesn't for some unknowable reason.

Honestly I've played this game to death and played Arcane Adventure to death as well. I would be honored to test but considering I don't really talk in the discord I would never get it
There needs to be justice for AO's development, even though there are testers that are active, what about the rest? The rest are slacking off and not doing their job.
Many of us will just quit the game eventually if the bugs get too much or the testers (that are inactive) do not get back to their job, many of us will want justice for a ruined animaton pack (lazy animation pack), terrible game development cycle like Arceyplayz says about the cycle of development of this game, the balancing changes not being tested out properly and so much more.
I complain about the testers that are inactive and do not do their job, I swear most balance changes are not added cause they are not tested or some other reason nobody knows of.

The main problem is, there are testers who can help and play the game to find bugs before an update comes out and they don't, and people who aren't testers who play the game and find bugs in the main game and report them, but they're not testers by any means 💀

consider comparing 30 people playing the game versus 2000 people playing the game, saying 90% of the bugs are found by playing is true and testers find proportionally (if not more) the same amount of bugs. i'm sure you know the exact number of bugs found during testing don't you, since you can see the channels, right

i don't remember a single tester that got in or said they got in because of bug reports exclusively (because that's just not what vet mainly looks for when inviting someone)
for the record, my criteria for getting tester in was literally just existing (I WAS COMPLETELY INACTIVE BEFORE), a few people recommending me, and making one thing that vet liked

Vetex discord has a useless bug issue report, and testers and balancing team are unhinged people who don't know their job
don't blame the balance team when vetex skipped the doc a lot of the weird metas were testers going "let's buff this!" despite the balance team having different changes to it and by the time the update comes out it's too late
For what I think should be done, there should be atleast ONE person that vetex needs to allow in the game to do just number changes for the balance team. This will literally fix so many problems, like vetex wouldn't have to work with number changes what so ever because he wouldn't have to work on changes to make from the balance doc, someone else would do it for him. Since he himself doesn't want to do it.
