My KogMaw redesign idea (hire me Riot):
Passive - Kog gets stacks when killing minions with q or hitting a champ with any ability
Q - More damage and executes at 225 stacks
W - Big old Puke ball with insane range, slow, and damage
E - Kog goes into ghost mode (current passive) and shoots enemies 3 times while channeling, can go over terrain
R (Mawwwwwm) - Kog calls his mom who flies from above and pukes acid in a straight line
that sounds like braums kit low key
Always thought puke ball should be his ult. 0.3stun with a ashe volley pathing, where he puked up everything ate for % damage starting at 3%-5%/1s. if you stay in its ground pools and last 10 seconds. anti tank kogMaw was always my thoughts on him.

It’s crazy how this play style only works in high elo, because you need 4 other people to play their roles and understand the gamestate for this to work.

It works in low elo as well because Baus will just outplay his laner. The reason high elo requires a team is because the opponent also understands how to deal with it.
What's actually crazy how the most criticized playstyle in modern league is the playstyle that actually encourages teamplay and coordination.

When Ren was splitting bot and getting the T3 tower and inhib, maybe he felt "forced" to do that, and it wasn't because he realized the enemy team constantly sent multiple people up to kill Baus and that was the most potent play given the circumstance?
Or when Jayce made the game winning push top when Baus was pressuring bot, maybe he felt "forced" to win that way? Who knows?
Either way, win cons are different in every game. Having a team that's smart enough, or I guess in your opinion 'forced' to win in a certain way, obviously pays off. That's why Baus consistently climbs every season. If you don't want to win in the way that Baus or anyone else creates in your games, then create your own win con and be sure to not force anyone to play around you or the scenario you tried to create, and I'm sure you'll be Rank 1 in no time.

I genuinely don't think Kog's kit is bad. Its just that everyone and their mother is so turbo loaded with dashes, hard cc and projectile blocks. Meanwhile, Kog just chainguns and shreds people to pieces. You cant itemize against him, you simply have to blow him up.
You absolutely can itemize against him, he's a worse vayne. Just build kaenic rookern and his W damage is worthless.
Vayne has lower range, but does %health true instead of magic damage. Legit the one defensive item in the game that counters her is Streak's Gage.

Wait those Q buffs actually are pretty crazy for Kog, the fact that the cast time scales with attack speed is amazing. It looks like at level 1 with no attack speed bonus, this actually will put his Q cast time at pretty much exactly .25 seconds still (assuming "attack windup %" is the % of their attack cooldown that is taken by the windup), but as you get more attack speed, the cast time will scale down. HUGE buff in general imo. At 2.5 attack speed, he'll cast Q in .067 seconds, which is about 3.75 times faster.
Yeah, Hullbreaker lost all the armor/MR for you and no longer gives you or minions bonus % tower damage, but it does essentially serve as an HP scaling Kraken Slayer proc that works on champs, epic monsters, and towers. Much less toxic for the game, although still can be a bit toxic on something like Trundle that gets so much attack speed AND already actually does lots of damage to towers.

If you go in and die in 2 secs,you won't have DMG. He's playing a squishy af late game champ. Do you see your 0/15 AD jhin with most DMG?
@@JustShawn11 no, if your consistently dueling you will always do dmg, which he did his entire laning, his also vsing some what of a tank so doing % hp is always going to have inflated dmg stats
Also his passive is a large portion of his dmg lol
I see 0-15 brands, zyra, karthus all having highest because they build liandries % hp dmg

I've seen a video of some Riot dev talking on stream about why they don't ban Baus, it's because they can clearly see he's actually trying to win, he's not just inting to grief his team. If it was just some random person with his record and they didn't have all of their games online to watch somewhere, they would get banned, but because he streams and they can look and see he's playing to win, they don't ban him.

Since kog'maw is from the void he should have an evolution feature. I think this should be in his passive. He needs to fit the theme and fantasy of a gremlin who vomits. He also needs to scale into the lategame and absolutely shred tanks.
Passive - icathian surprise - makes the passive way larger and more true damage. Revert the movespeed buff. Therefore anyone with a dash or are really mobile can get out but small dashes won't be enough. This is fair gameplay design. Additionally kog'maws ultimate will empower one of these abilities based on whatever spell has the most points or is maxed first.
Q - Corrosive spittle - passively gives kog'maw penetration. (Creates a more self centered damage boosts and removes the need to stop basic attacking for a global damage boost)
W - Living artillery - stays largely the same. The %damage should become ad. Gives passive attack speed.
E - ooze secretion - the previous problem was it's difficult use cases, it's a slow spell to cast and doesn't help a chase. I'd change it to a defensive cast shortening the range and removing cast time to a sphere around kog'maw for kiting purposes. Maybe he gets a small speed boost as he is comfortable in his ooze.
R - Endless spew -
Kog'maw gains runaans hurricane effect on ult for a period of time and recast all basic spells immediately.
Ultimate options -
E- Kog'maw's ooze secretion is repeatedly casted for a period of time.
Q - the armor reduction from his q is then applied as a debuff to the enemies letting allies take advantage of the penetration.
W- Kog'maw gains a stacking attack speed buff when his w is active like lethal tempo.
The numbers will need to be rebalanced but the concept is kog'maw will kite backwards with basic attacks and movement speed whilst leaving a slow area. He still has the same weaknesses but now he has a defining role in ad penetration. The gameplay becomes a bit of a catch me if you can game and then a reverse more chasee if you lose. The q ultimate will be good for the team, the w ultimate will be good for single target kog'maw and the e ultimate will be good for kiting. On-hit will do incredible damage but so will crit builds. E max reduces your early game damage but is potentially op for mid/late game kiting.
It can also lead to very creative interesting builds such as full ap kog'maw nuke with e + e-ult + passive.
I also believe this feels more like you're hurling lots of stuff at the enemy whereas the current kog you can only spew 1 attack at any given time. The inly underwhelming ultimate is q-ult where it's more team supportive. I really would like to hurl everything on the enemy with this rework. This also makes him much better in lanes with multiple champions, such as bot lane with a jungler.

KogMaw Rework:
Passive: whenever you land an ability your auto attacks and other abilities gain additional range (stacks 5 times). Landing two different abilities will also give you a speed boost
Q - skill shot that covers target in slime, revealing them and reducing their armor and magic resistance
W - straight line skill shot that slows and damages
E - activate this ability to gain shield/mucus membrane. It provides unit walking, slow resistance and a 1 health bubble that, when popped, slows the movement speed and attack speed of nearby enemies. During this time, your auto attacks prolong the duration of any currently active affects from your Q or W.
R - long range skill shot that leaves an area covered with slime -- this slime gives KogMaw additional MS if he moves through it.
I feel like this keeps his identity and general play style

It kills me how he doesn't use Q most of the time, he would've got the kill in many situations in this game if he used Q when trading, the shred on it is no joke.

Would last stand increase Kog Maw passive damage?
Since Kog'Maw needs a rework and Riot likes to go with theme over kit use:
1. Make Kog'Maw a mage variant
2. Take emphasis off of auto attacks and change w into more of a sustained flamethrower (see Aurelion Q as inspiration)
3. Make his passive so he immediately explodes where he dies, but dealing scaling magic damage and in a slightly larger radius
The abilities could use very slight reworks outside his new flamethrower W (which should operate like Xerath ult with the visual arc and area damage is applied but with a sustained stream of damage); however, the passive would make him a potential threat to melee divers whereas his counters would be ranged outplays. It would also emphasize positioning, even in death, which is something Kog'Maw players already need to be very cognizant of.

Passive - Kog gains a little ms for a few seconds whenever he hits a unique champion
Q - Kog's next auto shred's armor and mr (current q but no extra dmg and point and click)
W - same as current
E - Kog's autos slow enemy champs for the next 2-3 seconds (current e but point and click and no dmg)
R - Kog gets large ms and attack speed bonus (basically ghost + 50-100% attack speed), resetting on kills
