Looks a little windy there Mike :).. thanks for sharing another great video.. lovely to see the sites on your journeys. Hope you and Val have a lovely week. take care x
from Val - Thank you Sara. It was a lovely sunny day but rather cold wind, especially in the train with windows open. We hope you and Chris have a lovely week. Keep up with the studies...well done Sara. love Val & Mike xx
I have tried to find definite rulings about regulations for travelling in old style compartment coaches on classic railways. If you believe all that is written in magazine articles there appears to be an requirement for central locking systems to be fitted on doors so that that cant be opened until the train is stationary and bars to be fitted across all opening windows!! The mind boggles!
Hi Joanne. I remember you two joined the membership club on your visit. Have you come across any "on train virus regulations" in print in their magazine we are wondering?
Just about social distancing and one way systems plus cleaning and using hand sanitizer is in the latest magazine of the railway but restrictions are more tighter since the magazine was publishede. But Chris and I believe that wearing masks on all areas of steam railways and trains must be worn some others steam railway 's have this in practice we have seen this on recent steam railway videos .When we went to the Seaton Tramway we could only have our masks off while eating and drinking in the cafes . and loads of notices about social distancing I am sure there was notices at the Lynton and Barnstaple railway about wearing masks . We must all protect each other
@@joannejohnson I wonder if its necessary if only one family is in a sealed compartment as was the case.. That's the same as being at home where you wont be required to wear a mask.
living it up at Woody Bay.. very nice to be with you. thanks
There are several stations somewhat remote from where they are named. I think this one must be one of the furthest!
Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and healthy. There are many more trains to ride!
Thank you!

Nice video, it's a short and sweet ride. Have you been up to Watchet Station, is it still overgrown?
Some efforts have been made to tidy up the track a little but its not yet back to pre virus condition.
Very nice 🤗

A bit blowy Mike , nice views much clearer than your last few trips, Clive
That was the clearest we have ever seen the view, and perhaps with the coldest wind!
