R H , very nice rifle. Not being anywhere near an expert, but I would have the gun checked out by a gunsmith before shooting it. That’s the BEST thing to do, before shooting. Take Care
Check the lock up. Is there slop? It should lock up snug. Check the locking lugs for ware. If it were mine I would check it, then shoot it, take a hog or white tail lol
I definitely want to go up north to hunt whitetail, I live in Iowa so I can only hunt with muzzleloader, shotgun or straight walled cartridges. But I’ve seen videos of people shooting theirs with no problems so I feel confident that I could take it to the range without any mishaps.
