    Presenting Kalyanamalai Cooking Series Powered by Maavadu - "பாட்டி சமையல் பேத்தி கிச்சன்" (Paati Samayal Pethi Kitchen - Episode 14). In this episode, the Recipe we are going to look at "How to make Tasty Fried Kozhukattai" - "டேஸ்டான கொழுக்கட்டை செய்வது எப்படி".
    "Paati Samayal (Grandma's Recipes), Pethi (Grand Daughter's) Kitchen". As usual, Hamsa Amma is about to show us how to prepare yet another different dish. 'Kozhukattai', offered to Lord Ganesha is normally prepared using rice flour and this has always been part of Maavadu's festive menu. An authenticated version of the item is called 'Poricha' (deep fried) Kozhikattai. Unlike the ones made with rice flour this has a better shelf life.
    Maavadu likes to ensure that the food they send stays fresh and good when it reaches the customer. Rice flour Kozhikattais have been a challenge due to their shorter shelf life. The concept of 'Poricha' Kozhikattai was introduced in Maavadu with the advise and guidance of Hamsa ma, who is an expert in making the dish. This video is to familiarise the viewers with her unique process.
