    Houdini hard surface modeling toolset, QRemesher and now basic sculpting + COPS (+GSG material asset) will open a lot of new possibilities and we will be able to push models much further with modeling than ever before. Good job SideFX but now its time to look and improve Boolean toolset, please. :)
    Also, GSG squad sending big thanks for the shoutout. Thanks for the presentation Fianna, love it as usual.

      Quad Remeser is completely useless on hard surfaces as it cannot detect sharp edges. Exoside Quad Remesher does a much better job. What's the problem with boolean toolset?

      @@polpan. I know, still there will be user cases where we will be able to utilize it now that we have basic sculpting. I also use Exodise QR beside QRemesher. Problem with Boolean toolset is the fact that we are missing some good solution for more complex bevels. Modeler have a good example of what we need so that we can deal with beveling in some complex user case scenarios. It would be also nice to be able to make certain shapes much quicker, which I believe good example for that is Modo and how he deals with starting primitive objects.

    Next time, please choose a different speaker. In such a serious setting, with such a great software, I don’t understand why she keeps laughing and fails to provide details when necessary. It’s really disappointing 😊

      I think the talk was interesting and enough to get an insight on how to use some of the new things, but I also think answering the questions in the end should be supported by a team/ sidefx devs

    If "Material Linker" functionality isn't built into "Quick Surface Material" you're going to get low adoption rate and high rate of bug reports.
