The gearbox is extremely powerful and offers, depending on the type, a maximum of 2700 Nm torque. It is available in ratios up to 198 to 1. And shaft sizes from 30 up to 60 mm. Dertec gearboxes can be combined with Dertec Stainless motors to form a complete gear motor. We offer synchronous and asynchronous motors, brake motors and encoder motors to suit your needs.
All stainless drive components are developed and assembled in the Netherlands … and since 2008 many thousands have been installed in demanding industrial applications.
What makes the Dertec stainless steel gearboxes so unique?
The stainless steel 316 gear boxes have a smooth, round surface which allows for easy cleaning. In addition, the absence of dead spots significantly reduces the risk of dirt build-up and bacterial growth. As a result of the design less aggressive cleaning agents can be used and less water is needed to clean the gearboxes.
Dertec stainless steel gearboxes are always provided with a laser-engraved tag plate. This means that the tag plate cannot get lost or cause dirt to accumulate and is very easy to clean. So no risk of contamination!
The seals are made of food grade materials and we also offer at no extra costs food grade lubricants that come with a Halal, Kosher or nut free certificate.
If desired, the gearbox can be equipped with various options such as a solid output shaft, a secondary flange or a shrink disk for easy connection to your machine shaft.
Misalignment is a major problem when mounting gearboxes with a secondary hollow shaft. With a Dertec torque arm you reduce the risk of misalignment and prevent premature damage to bearings or shaft seals.
Closed and open shaft covers can be applied to avoid water ingress at the unused side of the hollow shaft. In addition, the covers provide direct protection for machine operators.
The gearbox has an IP-rating and is completely waterproof.
To ensure water tightness each gearbox is tested with a 100% factory pressure leak test before leaving the factory.
With all these unique properties, such as easy cleaning, laser engraving and watertightness, the FKA gearbox is extremely suitable for demanding applications in the food industry.
