I used the f4 to grind as well. Just as a heads up in closer encounters after you fire your missile turn away and pre-flare/chaff to evade their missiles
the f4-S has a great radar gimble limit , so after you shoot your missile you can turn almost 90 degress away from it and it will still track , use it if someone sends a missile at you while you are waiting for yours to get there
