I don’t know if they’ll call it an mr2 but it is a very elegant looking car. I’m very excited about this car hopefully will come to production. I’d like to see the wheels have enough clearance to get over speed bumps easily without wear and tear on the battery.

really hate where companies are trying to take sports cars; besides not having a combustion engine and a 6 speed manual it also has a weird yoke steering wheel, no physical buttons, and it either weighs over 4000lbm or has no range. Only EV commuters will be interested in a car with these features and almost all of them would rather have a tesla.
If I had to take a educated guess this will be Tpyotas new halo sports car for the ev side of things. It will sit on top of the Supra. Lead engineer already stated it has the width of a gr supra and length of a gr86. 0-60 time is 3 secs and he aims to give it over 400kms of range. Production car will also make use of gigacasting....

I use to have a MR 2 spyder it was a 1.8 4 cylinder and with a 6 speed secquential gears it was sexy beautiful fast and over all easy to maintain I love my MR 2 that i kept it for 14 years, the only thing that bothers me is I wanted to buy it new and the Toyota dealer it was close to winter park and fern park area I had a trade in and they said no I’ve always wanted a brand new MR 2 spyder I buy used and Toyota On highway 50 colonial dr sold me a yellow one came from Fort Lauderdale the rich idiot did not know how to shift the gear it made a clicking sound it was good to drive eventually the transmission gave and I had to let go of my dream car

Single castings for reduced cost? Lets see how that translates when a small section on one side gets pranged and you go through insurance repairs.
