Hi Amanda- I love this stitch and the color. Are you going to post a tutorial for a complete blanket? If not can you tell me the color of this Caron Big Cake color, nmbr of cakes and how many stitches for foundation I need to make a baby blanket? Any measurements are appreciated. I’ve been making your blankets for the last year and they are so beautiful! Thank you, love your channel!
When you insert the hook in the 4th chain starting the first row, will you still have 22 chains, or does it decrease to chain 18 for the remaining rows?
When making 22 chains, you will have a total of 6 hdc v-stitch clusters. The 3 skipped chains at the beginning will count as your first dc. You will end with a dc in the final chain.
Can you please tell me where to find you baby blanket pattern using this hdc V stitch?? or tell me how many chains you started with? thanks, I am new to your videos, and really enjoy them!!
It should straighten out as you complete more rows. If it doesn’t, maybe you’re gauge is too tight and causing it to curl up a little? Otherwise you could always block your project once it’s completed. There are several methods online about blocking.
Thank you Amanda...I'm going to try to make an afghan using this stitch! I would like to make an afghan 48'x60". Do you know how many chains I need to start with? TIA
You're welcome! I can't say for sure how many chains you'll need as everyone's gauge/tension is different. However, I suggest making a chain in a multiple of 2 and lay it over your couch or bed to see if it's wide enough. You can also use a measuring tape. Maybe try 150 chains to see if that's wide enough for the size you need. Good luck!
Hi, i am a beginner crochet. I just start make blanket with hdc about 10 row. If I change the 11th row with this pattern, will it make different size, bigger or smaller?
If you want to use a different stitch for your 11th row, you can do that. As long as you have the same number of stitches in each row, you should be good to go. 😊
Hello! I'm trying this stiches for the first time, I started with a SC for the first row and then in the Row2 the V- hdc stiches, the problem is that after row 2 and row 3, I got an increase and don't even know how 😭 I just followed the tutorial, I don't know what to do
Hello! You may be increasing the beginning or end of each row, which is why it’s getting wider. I would double check your stitches to make sure everything looks even. 😊
Amanda love your tutorials watch them all the time. Thank you!

Question: The blanket I’m crocheting is curving, will it eventually straighten out once I have completed several rows?

@@AmandaCrochets but it become bigger
😂
@@aithingxu953 then it’s possible it’s you’re tension. You could always go down a hook size to see if that makes a difference.

I’m not sure what you’re asking. I’d be happy to help once I know what you’re asking. Thanks!
