Hey, thanks for the shoutout! This series is cool, finding some new music that's out there is super inspiring to try new stuff in the AI programs. Funny how you picked Ring City, for me its super weird style, which kind of tracks with AI, considering a lot of my other stuff is more contemporary, I guess that's why it stood out. Podcast when?
I do like to zero in on stuff that's a bit different. The coolest thing about doing this is that I get to listen to a lot of music. It's the coolest thing. Sometimes a song will just land. It's sort of like making a song on Suno. You'll go "It's good but... Let's see what's next." Then it will give something where my foot taps and I smile all the way through and I will be "Yeah! That's the one".

I’ll admit, I’ve faced my fair share of people brushing me off with, "It’s just AI," and while it used to bother me, I’ve learned to embrace it and tune out the negativity. After all, AI is the future, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon....... Tonight’s selections were great, a brilliant mix of genres that was so refreshing to hear. It’s nice to hear such variety. I love most genres (just can't do country, sorry guys...) I've got some boppy fun songs, very emotional heart felt songs, lubby dubby love songs and a good taste of metal in there as well.... (Still Learning) I found that if you do use a GPT for lyrics, emphasize Lyrical Prowess and various styles of Prose within your prompts. Yet, even with the best results AI can offer, I suggest using it only for inspiration. Writing your own lyrics will bring you greater enjoyment, while developing your skill and your own style. It also tends to produce more natural realistic results if prompts are formatted specifically for each genre or music style.
Agreed. chatGPT lyrics make is sound so mediocre, you've heard one song ...you heard them all. I'm not good at writing lyrics, so I do use chatGPT to sort of give me a framework, where I then change lines so it doesn't sound so corny. Also I tell it not to rhyme the last two lines of each verse, it gives me options then to rewrite it to rhyme or not. Often times once I'm set with the piece of music I go back to in-paint and change some lines. Its a lot of work, and making many decisions along the way, it makes it all worthwhile when you listen to the final results. Get goosebumps then you know you've done something right, even though only a handful of people ever get to listen to it.
Great artists and songs, I would be interested in knowing if after they generate the song, do they do anything else to it in a daw or mastering? The quality of dr nooo song, what's top-notch. Very clear, excellent meter. I would be interested to know what finishing touches all the artists add to their songs.

I tried using Audacity a few times but find it really difficult to get my head around when I'm at a time in my life where I'm trying to figure out and get better at video editing. I found an ai tool that can enhance audio tracks. Once I feel comfortable in the quality that it pumps out, I'll probably do a video about it.
This is what is beautiful about art. Someone's garbage is someone else's treasure. I hear the band White Stripes and it is like someone is waterboarding me. But they are super successful.

Audacity is a good program to edit sound files. Lots of neat things one can do with such simple and free software.
