  • UPDATE: Hey folks! Thank you for your kind words about my AlphaZero videos! I don't have new AZ videos on this channel but I have created something even bigger: an entire chess course (Attack like a machine!) highly influenced by AlphaZero's play, with the main chapter dedicated to AlphaZero's attacking chess! You can check out the preview video and find out more about the course here: www.chessable....
    --------
Let's just say Anna was under a slight pressure to create more AlphaZero content for you guys...
Here's the first episode of the video series "Attack like AlphaZero" by chess International Master Anna Rudolf, focusing on the strategies it takes to launch an attack on opposite flanks -- and what happens when that initiative doesn't lead to a killer attack but converts into a different type of advantage.

All requests for alpha zero were perhaps from people that partially pretend to be ai, I just had a dream about a hotel that eventually had an elevator to a sorta a pentagon area where I stole a necklace that might have had another inclusion to it, considering cameras between knowing it's a dream probably and wondering how dumb it was that I maybe got a necklace out a little drawer, top left of a cabinet, maybe a 2ind9w sporty old 70-80s-90s-now some vibes of a sporty unknown kinda secret pentagon cubicle worker room on at least the 4th5th floor, the elevator didn't have walls, I remembered the song pearl necklace be4 I went to sleep at a time, so thru dreamfragmenting etc etc. Who è, I love Anna ❤ she is so cute and stuff, an tuff, way she talks is great if u reply I'm ugly but a good narration although my voice needs to be certain ways for the translation to be accurate to my ears.

Thank you Anna for working hard to bring us deep understanding of the play of Alpha Zero. With diligent study of your videos on Alpha Zero vs Stockfish 8 someone should be able to make vast improvements in their game, primarily being able to recognize and/or play the opponent to a lost position so efficiently. The power and harmony of the pieces that Alpha Zero exercises in its games is a world champion level lesson you have made understandable to babes. Appreciate you!

on interesting fact is that the main difference was that a stable formation for black was the 3 pawns on black, so alpha zero took the trade for the bishop on black but not on the white, if you think in a perspective of value, you can assume that you end up with same pieces, the knight takes bishop, rook takes knight, whatever. So it's the same value, but a white bishop can only ever defend pawns on white, 3 pawns on black means 3 moves to make it stable again, while white had a formation of 2 pawns holding the middle and a white bishop. also, more space to move everything else. So in the endgame, it's just a formality to take them out from behind while staying safe with your own structure. stockfish only accounts for the value, thinking that as long as he takes the same amount, it should be a way to win or draw, while alpha zero only trades when positions will have a value.

On online blitz games, I almost always castle queenside as most players like to castle kingside. As black, I love to play Sicilian French Variation, then eventually get my bishop on b7, the other bishop to c5 or d6, and aggresively push the g and h pawns to activate my rooks.
