I have no problem watching you create! I alway learn something every time I watch your videos. So if you make a beginner video, I’ll be here to watch it 😂. Beautiful tags! 🤗❤️ Tamara
I would love to hear what essential items one would need to begin journal making! You're ability to just put textures/items together amazes me...everything comes together so well. I love watching you create.
Once again, you create effortless with such a calm, joyful, and sweet disposition. Very pretty tags. I like how you collage your work. I look at a beautiful piece of paper and feel that I can't cover it up because it's so beautiful, but you make even the beautiful more beautiful! Thank you, Wendy, for sharing your time and talent. It's so enjoyable to listen to you and watch you work. You're my favorite channel. Always look forward to what's next. Have a great day!
I learn a lot about composition when you share the process with us. I’m enjoying learning about how you can combine several different digital collections from the same creator and have them work together. 😊
Yes, I would definitely love to see a video on the essentials for a new journal creator! I feel like I learn so much from watching your videos, and I really especially love videos where you’re crafting like this, where you don’t know ahead of time exactly what you’re going to use and where you’re going to put it.
I like how you make decisions on the go. It shows creativity. It's one thing to follow what someone else has done, and another to just create as you go. I am just learning and my need for perfection is holding me back. I like to see how comfortable you are in what you are doing. I hope to someday be able to do that.
@@karen.johansen1922 I want to do these things so bad but lack confidence. I tell myself it's only paper and it doesn't have to be perfect and yet sometimes I look at something I have made and cringe. I don't have much money and I am not a natural at crafting, yet doing this helps my depression and anxiety so much.
Your process helps me see how and why you do what you do. And do love when you give reasons why. I will watch anything you make, what you really need to get started. tfs💕
Always Love you going through the process of your thinking when you do your crafting..and putting it all together..very relaxing like we are all in the same room Crafting along..lol, at least that's how I feel when I'm watching...Yes, Would Love to see a video on starting a junk Journal . You very much Inspire Me when I'm working on my Making of My Own Journals... 🤗❤
Wendy these look terrific. I really enjoy following along. I have these kits and never used them so I am thankful now I know how to use them. Thanks for the inspiration 💕
I enjoy any video you do. It is nice when the artists share their processes and procedures. Your creativity on the fly is cool to see. Take care stay save glad you are feeling better
Love that you “craft as you go” - I have the kit in your journal you are making it was the first kit I purchased and I also have the tag kit so can almost craft along !
Hi Wendy!! I love your calm nature and watching you create. Your whole process makes it look easy!! These tags are beautiful, love how they turned out. 💜
Love the bugs 🐛 Ladybird is cute 😍 Tracies tags are fabulous, she puts do much work into them. Excited about seeing your craft room after hubby works his magic. 🙂
I have to say anything you can teach I will so appreciate it. Any direction. I really think I am trying to do to many things when I decided to start journaling again and I feel overwhelmed. So thank you for all u do. Tracies printables are really stunning. U just work magic with all kits
This was great Wendy!!! I always enjoy your videos and this one was extra special!!! I think a video on what you think is essential for someone starting out is very importsnt!! I believe you would steer a person in the correct direction.💖💖💖
Brilliantly lovely as always! ❤ I love the ideas. Your idea regarding the newbie items is awesome. I even think seasoned journal creators would enjoy that video. Thank you for all you do and thank you for sharing. 💕🥰💕
Happy New year, finally get to sit down and craft and love this craft with me vdo, I feel like we sit and craft together and so nice to see and hear how your thoughts went and follow. Thank you so much for taking the time and share with us. Now I need to go back and catch up with the previous vdo, lol. sending big hugs.
So enjoy watching and listening to your creative process. The materials you use are gorgeous. The video you mentioned about materials and supplies beginners could use sounds really beneficial.
So glad to have discovered your channel!!! Such beautiful work - and it's so relaxing to listen to your creative process as you go .... Wonderful. And, in answer to your question: I would love to see your advice on how to get started - especially starting out without a sewing machine. Thanks for this!!!
Hi Wendy. Happy new year from new Zealand. I've lost my crafting Mojo, so I'm trying to watch inspiring videos, and I really enjoy watching you make decisions as you create. Oh and hearing you say "I don't want to cut that up" etc... I can soooo relate! So thank you for your inspiration! ❤️
Lovely tags, Wendy. A beginner video is always helpful - reminds some of us of what we have forgotten along the way. I want to recommend a channel that is not exactly new but needs more subscribers - Le Cafe Craft. She doesn't post regularly or often but, when she does, it's incredible. For anyone looking for unusual projects (not junk journals I'm afraid) this is a wonderful and fun channel to check out.
I enjoy watching your inspirational videos Wendy. Thank you for sharing them with us all. Can I please ask what scissors you use as your cutting out seems effortless.
Hi Wendy, yes please share crafters you follow. Here are some I watch - Julie from Camelia Crafts Designs, Amy from Crafty Cat, Toni from Crafty by Toni.
They turned out beautiful Wendy. I was sobering what brand/ weight copy paper you used. You mentioned you really like that brand in your video and I am not sure if I missed the brand or if you did not say. Thanks for sharing this video.
Hello Wendy, I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to comment on your previous video. As far as new makers, the channels I'm subbed to probably everyone already knows, but your ideas for videos on them sounds great. And Yes, you've gotten me excited for you on the finishing up on your craft space. Looking forward to seeing the reveal when it's done. One question, I know you like the Art Glitter glue and I've heard of some of the pros and cons of the product, but have you ever heard of or used the Bearly Art's glue (which is supposed to be similar to Art Glitter glue but without the freezing issue)? Wondering what you thought about it. Thanks in advance. Take care and God bless. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Hi Becky, I use Art Glitter for most everything, but I bought the Bearly Art glue to try. It IS VERY SIMILAR. However, I found that it doesn't dry quite as fast as Art Glitter which is sometimes helpful. Other than that and the price, it seems to be the same to me. I would be curious to hear from others.
I would love to see a video from you about your choices of why or why not you use certain things in your junk journal making. For instance I love you but all the glue sticks I have tried come up after about 2 weeks and I could just tear them off very easily not that I want to. I don't show on top of it so that is one reason why it comes off. I might have to break down and learn how to sew paper! Thanks for your videos thanks for your opinion have a good day
Love love your journals….I do have a question….is it better to do a journal cover first and then make the insides to match or do the signatures first then do the cover? I struggle sometimes which to do first
HI. When I make journals, sometimes it is a cover first, other times choose papers and the direction the journal is taking decides the cover. If you build a cover first, keep in mind the number of signatures, so the spine is the correct size. Don't let which should be first stop you from creating. Just have fun with what you are creating!
I love your botanical journal. I agree that Ghotto glue is amazing but I can’t see paying the shipping. The Uhu glue is good but I have gotten a box that was not the same. It didn’t smell good like the original Uhu should have and didn’t stick at all so now I’m skidish buying it. I even bought from the same place. I think it’s happened to others as I heard Rachel refer to “not all Uhu glues are created equally “
Amazon has its own glue stick which was not available for awhile, but now it's back in stock. I used it and liked it; plus it's inexpensive. Good for paper to paper. It's called Amazon Basics Large Permanent Nontoxic Bulk Glue Sticks, Washable. Let me know if you try it.
