It's kind of like all of these young bucks the rap game trying to do the scat rap thing without paying respect to the Godfather of the genre Bryon "Bizzy Bone`` McCane II can't nobody come close to it
I too was a huge fan but shit i cant undrstand them now much less back than lol!! I swear they are saying himinim siminblaw step back fellinimslippindipemblidem blaw! I really dont think they were speaking just mumbling sounds on most of it.
Yep i know rappers hated that shit lol. Back then, i remember cash money was notorious for it. Baby would always say we gotta do clean version, then dirty. When radio play actually mattered
TO THIS DAY, I still collect the re-written clean versions. I thought it made rappers even MORE clever, cuz they had to rewrite the whole verse, pretty much. Ice Cube's "The Predator" was proof of that. I also thought the clean version of Domino's self-titled album was a GREAT clean version. They replaced "That's Real", but I don't think that song could be cleansed.
@@TranzparentMethodsi didn’t know that’s about the predator i’ll have to check that out. i only knew he re-recorded trespass to be clean as well as the rest of the people on that soundtrack did. it’s what artists should do but most just do sound effects back masking or silence. definitely more creative
Krayzie during a very recent online video stream said he has 7 completed u released albums ready to be put out.. He said he vows to have more music than Tupac when he dies.
The video timestamp says 9/6/1995, but E. 1999 Eternal was released on 7/25/1995. I think here we are seeing them back in the studio after the album's release, recording the clean versions of this song and maybe some other songs, for singles and radio, etc.
Man, this is golden. Id pay to see more of this. Aint no re-recording clean versions any more, lol. They just edit it out, lol. Back then you had a whole new set of words, lol.
Krazy is such a lyricist! if you pay attention he's doing the radio edits for this verse as opposed to the flow on album version were all accustomed to where he says "and the bull shit stops" ..this is back when u had to have new bars and be creative instead of just letting radio bleep out your verse every 4 seconds lol
I have clean video versions of Bone, Method Man, Craig Mack, Biggie, Pac, Snoop/Dog Pound, Nate Dogg/Warren G, Dr. Dre & Cube, ODB, etc. I keep sayin ima up em to youtube, but time has not been on my side.
This is an example of the work ethic we have always heard about krayzie having... not only did he redo his verses over and over til he was content...some pre released versions of songs even have completely different verses showing that he was not happy and went back in and did it all over... Which is nuts for any of you fans who have never heard the pre release versions of its all mo thug and family tree... magic dude
Back in the days, hiphop artist had to record edit version of their songs for radio and televisions instead of bleeping and cut. But some artist we just lazy to back and re-record or maybe they wouldn't be able to catch the original vibe. but Tupac and krayzie are two artists I know for a fact likes to record new verses for clean version. "I ain't mad at ya" is the perfect example.
best album of all time (my opinion). bought it back in 95' the day it was released, as a 10 year old i had no idea who they were at the time, but haven't looked back since. know most of that album off by heart now and it still hasn't gotten played out. truly... eternal. RIP Eazy
I think this is Kray recording the clean version in order to get E.1999 a single. The original had already been recorded. Still this is a worthy watch. We can see exactly how they get that flow down. Legends.
They shoulda put this part in straight ouuta compton like Eazy-e walking in on krazy bone in the studio like when Dre walks in on Pac but with E he than passes out with Bone thugz cuz that's what really happen when Eazy passed out he was in the recording studio with them.
+Ruben Torres bg knockout said eazy was in the hallway arguing over business stuff when he passed out and they were asking him to come in the studio to record a part on his album and eazy kept saying ill be in there in a minute and then he collapsed having a breathing attack and went to the hospital. i dunno about collapsing during bone, maybe it was more then once. i dont think he was even there most the time they were recording i think he let dj uneek handle most of it
I didn't know about that movie comming out which is even better than. I also ment just a short clip of Bone. I mean 2pac came out in the movie and john singelton is making a film of 2pac straight outta compton could of been more accurate.
shit u think that major movie would give Bone love...bone gonna do own documentary type movie if can find someone that will do it real and no Hollywood shit...Krayzie was talking about it the other night
Never ceases to amaze me tha amount of skill n passion they put in their music proud as fuck to say they're my inspiration n I may never be near as good as bone is but ima always stay motivated to do my thang n make it somewhere n honestly I'll owe it all to btnh for showin me what real hip hop music is n showin me u dnt gotta sell out to become legends ...sorry just had to express myself I dnt normally ride artists like tht but I honestly believe they're the greatest n deserve it
How is Krayzie recording his E.99 verse from September 1995 when the Eternal album came out in July 25th, 1995? This must have been early 1995 or late 1994. Album was already done and being mastered before Eazy E died.
oh so they're working on CLEAN version...I saw the September date and got confused since came out in July. Still got my cassette tape even though CDs was the norm at time
This is one of the greatest beats of all time, I’ve played this album since a kid. I couldn’t even imagine putting those head phones on at 3:30 and hearing that fucking beat to rap over
@@Blaugrana-world-94 People have this love for analog these days - and trust me it sounds amazing if you can get it right - but it's a ton of effort and expense to get a proper analog sound. You need engineers, mastering and a team that has worked with it for many years. The 2" reels were always in need of maintenance and once you had your board set properly for the final mix, you could not save it. You had to document everything manually. Although analog is amazing and the sound is unbeatable, I would not want to go back to it. It's just so much effort. I think it's better to focus on the new digital tools and getting a unique sound out of them. For example, the SP1200 with it's lower sample rate gave samples an amazing sound which can be captured in a digital mixdown. If you have a huge budget and tons of time, analog is amazing but it's just not realistic to try and use it these days. Who has the money or time to maintain a 2" reel to reel.
That's the recording of the clean version for the single. The original version of this song was recorded in August 1994. The single came out in November 95
