I just grabbed a couple pairs of the TwoWxy v4 for $50 each. I’ll probably be grabbing these as soon as they go on sale. I really love how New Balance keeps there basketball lines small and focused. They have a shoe for each general player type and one signature athlete. Each shoe is great at what it’s meant for and made really well. I hope they stay this way for a long. Currently they’re my go to brand just because they’re easy to try on at Dicks and often on sale. Nike has really fallen off for me and adidas just doesn’t fit. Overseas brands are too hard to get and try on.

@@greendog8424 not in Toronto. They're also extremely hard to find in good colourways. Footlocker only sells ugly ones at full price and New Balance doesn't carry basketball shoes here. Only one store had the two wxys and only in a few select sizes/colours.
The V3s are probably still my personal favorite from this line, but they have all been excellent. Excited to give this one a try when more colors come out

Might sound strange.. but the v4 was too much grip< too easy to get crossed over in because you stick instead of slidding. I returned them and settled with the GT Academy for better court feel

I just got a pair of the bbv2 - the more I play in them - the more I like them. My legs don’t ache after games - it’s great. If cushion and impact protection are key - which one come out ahead - bbv2 or twoway5?
Yes indeed I feel the same. That shoe causes no soreness whatsoever, same with these actually. Cushion & impact protection they pretty much feel the same, a lot of similarities between the two so might not be worth the additional purchase if you’re already enjoying that pair. Maybe wait for discounts / more colorways in your case 😁

I’m with you, I ordered the bbv2 in a 11. I loved the shoe but had to return it because it gave me a blister on my left shoe toe. I just ordered the TWO WXY V5 in all black sz 11 in wide on the NB website. I will let you know once I get them in.
