Actually, they met before Crash Landing on you, they met while filming the movie called “The Negotiation”.

I am still convinced they got together after working on the negotiation probably during the promo tours so 2017, they were spotted together in the US shoppping but they made out like it was a coincidence that they both were there at the same time, however that would fit the timeline of post promo then release of the negotiation.
If that is true then I applaude them for managing to keep things away from the public eye for so long, a couple needs time to get to know each other and especially if they are celebs and it seems especially in Korea where it seems everyone and the dog think they can wade in and tell you what to do etc even if they have never met you and the 'fans' think they own them. No wonder they didn't want to let people know, well done to them, they seem really good together, and if the vile rumour makers would leave them alone I am sure they are living their best lives together.

I wholeheartedly agree..!! It's good to see I'm not alone in finding clickbait like these manipulative headlines challenge my feelings of credibility towards channels who do this to boost their views. Like many others, I enjoyed "Crash Landing on You" and was very happy for both actors when they married and had a baby together. Perhaps optimistically, I'd hoped channels who report on this type of news would respond to the actors' integrity and how they conduct themselves. By mirroring the good manners and honesty that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin always demonstrate and having the same level of integrity when reporting their news I'm sure their views would not drop. Personally, I tend to stop watching channels who use such overly dramatic and highly manipulative titles and think you described this perfectly in saying that we don't *want* to see such twisted versions of the truth. For me, I'm just (sincerely) happy for them when I read of their happiness.
