I am a proud owner of Samsung Galaxy A50 which I purchased way back in April 2019. I never thought that this series will be so famous worldwide. This phone is still performing well except for the battery drainage issue.

On an iPhone You can't even upload a file to gdrive while keeping it on background.

I'm a user of a52s 5g , bought this phone only for good camera for 35000 but now using software updates they are downgrading camera.performance is ok but camera is worst in terms of details and light management .

That's normal with Samsung Phones. I too had A50 with the best camera and video in the initial stage. But later on it is downgraded after software updates.

Samsung feels safer for me rather than lower priced chinese phones. I dont like apple restrictions too. So i will be too happy with A55 for next 5 years. Definitely gonna buy when price comes down, also considering nothing phone and waiting for pixel 8a. The points you mentioned are real and needs to addressed😊

I need to ask you something. I have Samsung A52. Of late I am experiencing aggressive task killing in the background. Especially after updating it to One UI 6. Even switching between two apps kills and restart them. What should I do to get it fixed?

Could be some form of ram leak. If a restart, and app updates do not fix the issue. Backup your data and factory reset. You can also try removing some apps like Facebook, Instagram, etc.

We A series users want quality not quantity. I'm using A72 from 3 years and the experience is fantastic. In my phone there is no jitter, performance issue and after Android 14 update device is running more smoothly and camera optimization also improved. No matter how good specs chinese companies give but they cannot match samsung like software experience, Ui, service & software support and mainly trust! Trust me guys if you want a phone to use for 3 to 4 years then blindly go for samsung. Samsung always fulfills it's update promises. I was a chinese phone user then I shifted to SAMSUNG a series.

I haven't used any A series phone only S series and they work like a champ the only a series phone i have experienced is the A50s which is used by my dad and it still worked nicely and cameras are still good after 2 years of usage but unfortunatelly it got stollen so now i gave them a s20 fe 5g .

this is such a mature & holistic take on samsung - it doesn't exactly "beat the phone up" - but explains the value of the phone in the indian context which is SO interesting and also SUCH A NEED to understand! tech is jumping in advancements and so is their price. i genuinely believe that ppl who blind purchase via brand-value need to start picking up reading & learning again.
I'm using galaxy a51 for last 5 years. And never rued for that. But now the same series phone costs almost double than it's price 5years ago. And that will make me think before upgrading to it's successor

Samsung is a good real estate company, they also make good food, good washing machine, fridge, but i'm not sure about smartphones. They make a lot of smartphones but they hang and lag too often except their flagship S series, a dacade ago, S series also used to lag a lot.

hey see don't go for the low price. yeh brand jaise infinix,honor low price par maal de denge but after sales service is bad. go for more reputed brand i will suggest msi modern seriesor go for some reputed brands. kyunki chalo maan lo example ke liye 40000 ka tumne laptop le liya honor ka but screen kharab ho gyi toh tumhe service achi nahi mili toh 40k barbaad. but yahi tumne 45k ka reputed brands like dell hp asus ka liya toh screen kharab hua toh 7k ka service cost aaya bhi toh laptop usable hoga baad mein.

Being an electrical engineer and knowing all modern computing hardware I bought a a54 consciously. Whereas I got it only at 82 KD. For this price range the soc power is pretty much ok. And you can't measure the whole Galaxy lineup based on the performance of the a14.

I had been using Galaxy A series since long. A series has never been gaming centric. It's perfect and unique daily driver. Camera is very good. And display is punchy and crisp. Build is solid. I have used A5 2016 for 3 years and then A71 for 4 year. It doesn't hang even today and camera performance is awesome. No lag in general app behaviour. That's samsung A series
But both both had snapdragon processor and A55 has Exynos. I would not consider buying a A series with exynos

really needed a renowned youtubers to talk about samsung A series' problem. I bought A53 few months after its launch and after listening tonns of positive reviews from tonnes of ytbers after buying i was glad for few months but after every month after every update new bugs and glitches arrived also hindering the performance. And at this point i really hate the decision i made to buy that. Similarly my father also bought A14 almost a year ago and in first week only i realised its a trash (i could have avoided my dad to buy it and waste 20k on it only if the youtubers have just talked about the cons honestly.). And only after 2-3 months the performance of the phone has dropped so much that it cant even run the UI at native refrsh rate (games toh door ki baat).

I am using J8 from 2018 on wi-fi I had two sessions of binge watching yt/insta... It gave me an SOT of ~6hrs.. performance is definitely not the highlight but the display and UI plus it's light weight doesn't make me want to switch on another phone.. It doesn't work like butter but is still hand, camera takes soft photo but sometimes suprises with the colour and quality, I have 4-64 variant and only have 10 gb of free storage yet works fine but my dad's Redmi note 11 even with SD680 jitters and crashes apps...
Also backup all data and reset your mother's A14 then use it after applying all battery and background related features and your phone will work loke new
After every update Samsung ui evolves so better watch battery optimisation features, search thoroughly and apply them.. I am saying on behalf of my experience that Samsung lasts well if you know how to use it...
