Wow! What a nice rendition of "Colour Everywhere" 🌈 by Morissette 👸. Thank you for giving us a revival of this song, originally sung by American country music singer Deana Carter, in 1998 (if I'm not mistaken). Then there was a rendition by Youth Asylum, a six-member American boy group, with the title "Color Everywhere" in 2000. Our Christian Bautista, a "Kuya" to Mori, made it popular in the Philippines, releasing it as part of his album in 2004. Eighteen years later and we listen to Mori singing "Colour Everywhere" beautifully in her sweet, mesmerizing voice. I had to listen to the original and previous versions of the song, and I find Mori's rendition to be the best for me. 🥰 She pronounces all the words clearly. Such is the case with the line "You put the red back in the rose" where she clearly pronounces the "rose" unlike the other singers where it was not clearly "rose" (it sounded something like "rue"). Also, Mori elongates the "learn" in the line "Someone who could help me learn to see" and it is such a candy to my ears. 💙 This just goes to show that even without squeaks, growls, whistle, and sky-high belting, Mori can deliver beautiful and soothing music. 🥰
